By providing a friendly and comfortable environment for patients to improve and maintain their dental health, Dr. Tran and his staff hope to make a difference in public dental health and to change their perception about dentistry.
Dr. Tran was born in Vietnam and moved to Eastern Washington in 1978 during his high school years. He received his undergraduate Biochemistry degree at Washington State University in 1985, and later graduated from the University of Washington in 1989 with a DDS in general dentistry. Dr. Tran began Comfort Dental in 1990 with the goal of providing the best possible quality dental care to all patients by a continuous improvement in current knowledge and cutting edge techniques. In pursuit of this, he has since then earned over 1700 credits in post graduate dental education, making him eligible for a Mastership in the Academy of General Dentistry. Through the Masters training, Dr. Tran practices 16 different areas of Dentistry which include: oral surgery, surgical implantology and bone grafting, orthodontics, cosmetic reconstructions, pediatric and geriatric dentistry, surgical endodontic, surgical periodontics, oral medicines, prosthodontics fixed and removable, myofacial TMJ pain, and occlusion. Upon finishing his education, Dr. Tran has now begun to educate others through his hands-on lectures on orthodontics with the Academy of Gp Orthodontics.
Dr. Tran has a wife, three children, and a dog at home so he is a personable family guy. In his free time he likes to dabble in photography.
