I woke up with a sensitive tooth issue this morning. Called Dr. Zavari's office and left a message at 8:15; received a call back at 9:00 AM and they had an opening at 1:00 PM TODAY. Went in at 1:00 PM and Bita Zavari and her staff took care of the situation. It is so nice to be able to call on my dentist and not have to wait until next week or two weeks from now. The atmosphere in the office is really casual and everyone is friendly. Paul

Dr. Zavari opened her private dental practice in 2001. Since then, she has built a solid reputation of delivering innovative dental care with focus on function and esthetics. She believes that dental health is an indication of the entire human body health. That is why it is important for her to get to know her patients individually and listen to them well. Her treatment approach is individualized, detailed , comprehensive and conservative to fit her patients' life styles, habits and needs. She has appeared in many local media publications and TV channels and has donated her time and dental services to many local residents and organizations.
Dr. Zavari has earned loyal followings as well as being recognized and known for introducing and founding the First Dental Spa concept in the Portland Metro Area as a general and Cosmetic Dentist. Her creativity and eagerness to introduce new concept and ideas to help Dental Professionals and patient's needs are never ending. Dr. Zavari is an active member of American Dental Association, Academy of General Dentistry and American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry
Dr. Zavari is also an instructor in Restorative Dentistry at OHSU dental school and loves teaching and sharing her skills and knowledge with her future colleagues and interacting with her fellow dentists.
When Dr. Zavari is not practicing her passion of dentistry, she spends time with her family, husband and their 11 year old son. She and her husband spend most of their free time with their son's statewide and national Taekwando competitions and other activities. She enjoys yoga, pilates and traveling.

She comes off nice enough, and straight forward, but with further knowledge, I now believe that this tactic is to scare you into spending money, regardless of pain and expense to the patient.
Because of the guidelines on zoc-doc ( they don't allow you to discuss the accuracy of treatment or diagnosis) I can't discuss my personal situation. Please consider my review strongly though. I am not a dentist, but I'm married to one.

Like many people I approach the dentist with caution. Dr. Zavari and her amazing staff made me feel welcome and relaxed from the beginning. They are very efficient and professional. The office space itself is also really lovely and well appointed. I was able to get an exam and formulate a treatment plan with pricing as well as schedule my follow up visits. They even offered me a lovely flower on my way out of the office. I am so glad to have found Dr. Zavari and trust that my dental health is in great hands.
