I think its normal to feel really apprehensive and anxious about visiting the dentist. I came in for an emergency appointment, and the level of care and hospitality I received with Dr. Graves and his staff left me wondering if perhaps the dentist isn't so bad! Everyone was so nice and they did a great job.

More about Dr. Brooks Graves, DMD
Dr. Brooks Graves grew up in a small town in northwest Ohio, he then attended University of North Carolina at Wilmington where he received undergraduate degree’s in Biology and Chemistry. He went on to earn his Doctorate of Dental Medicine from Nova Southeastern University, where he was an active member of the Alpha Omega dental fraternity and served as the community service chair of the American Student Dental Association. He continued his post-doctorate education at Ralph H. Johnson VA Hospital in Charleston, SC where he earned an Advanced Education in General Dentistry degree.
Dr. Graves is constantly striving to learn about the newest trends in dentistry through continuing education. He loves all facets of dentistry, with a special interest in pediatric dentistry and cosmetics. He takes the time to treat each patient with the respect and compassion they deserve and wants everyone to be a part of this dental family. Dr. Graves has travelled to Coma Laupa, Guatemala delivering dental care to those in need and continues to give back to the community through volunteering and sponsorships.
In his time away from the office Dr. Graves enjoys being with his wife and taking his two dogs to the park and watching college football and basketball when his wife will let him. Attending college, dental school and residency on the coast allowed him to pick up surfing and paddle boarding even winning a few paddle boarding races. While living in Charleston, SC he was chosen to serve on the Philanthropy Committee of the esteemed Charleston Food and Wine Festival.
Dr. Graves is a member of the American Dental Association, Academy of General Dentistry and the Texas Dental Association.
