Ever since he can remember, Dr. Abdullah loved creating things with his hands and problem solving. Fixing things that are broken has been a lifelong source of joy for him, and his work as a periodontal specialist lets him realize this passion as he cares for patients.
After completing his dental doctorate at the Loyola University School of Dentistry, Dr. Abdullah pursued his Master and Specialty Certificate in Periodontology from Tufts University. He is Board Certified and a Diplomate of the American Academy of Periodontology, which is an honor that represents his commitment to clinical excellence and continuing education. Over the past 25 years, he has taught in the department of postgraduate periodontology at the University of Illinois School of Dentistry.
Dr. Abdullah is happily married with two daughters. Outside of the dental world, one of his biggest passions is golf. While he no longer plays, he enjoys coaching his daughters who are both dedicated to the sport.
