More about Dr. Bruce Wardell, DMD
Dr. Bruce Wardell has been caring for the orthodontic needs of children, teens, and adults in the surrounding communities of Glen Ellyn/Wheaton/Lombard since opening his practice in July 2009. In March of 2015, he opened a second office location to provide the same quality orthodontic care for the Hoffman Estates/Schaumburg communities. Dr. Wardell received his Bachelors degree in Biology from Brigham Young University in 1998. He earned both his Dental Degree in 2003 and his Orthodontic Specialty Certificate in 2009 from the University of Louisville. He is a member of both the American Dental Association and American Association of Orthodontists and is a certified Invisalign provider.
After earning his dental degree, Dr. Wardell served on active duty in the United States Navy as a general dentist for 4 years. He received an additional year of training in the Advanced Education in General Dentistry residency at Naval Station San Diego and Balboa Naval Hospital. As part of his military service, Dr. Wardell served as a combat dental officer while deployed to Iraq for seven months in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom in 2005.
Dr. Wardell has been happily married for over 20 years and enjoys spending his free time with his wife and 4 children. He enjoys all sports and outdoor activities as well as going to the movies and playing board games.

As an adult, getting braces was a hard decision and I wasn't sure what to expect. Dr Wardell had put me at ease and answered every question I had which reassured me I was making a good decision. Every visit I am greeted cheerfully by name & with smiles. The office is very clean, modern and well decorated. Everyone in the office is professional, personable, positive, cheerful and kind! I cannot say enough good things about Dr Wardell and all of his staff. I can honestly say I look forward to every visit.

It's always a pleasure to see the staff @ Dr. Wardell's office. Staff is very friendly and efficient. This is our second family member having treatment here and we love the fact that the staff is very friendly and compitent. We are in good hands.

Dr. Wardell is very personable and professional. We have been coming to this office for 6 years and three of our kids have completed their braces. We are thrilled with the results and the entire process was seamless. We have three more kids that will need braces and we will definitely be coming back to Dr. Wardell.
