I was in need of an unexpected tooth repair and though I was not up to date on my care, she compassionately and competently helped me through this unfortunate situation. Her gentle but completely professional abilities conveyed care that I totally appreciated! She is a special woman!

I was very impressed with the treatment I received at Dr Yamashiro's office. She is an excellent dentist. I plan on bringing my spouse and myself back for all of our dental care. The entire staff and the office surroundings are really great. If you are looking for a biological/holistic dentist I would say this is one of the best options for that type of treatment that is available in Washington and possibly the country.

This was the most outstanding dental experience in my life! Dr. Yamashiro was incredibly competent, removed my old crown quickly and efficiently, and made sure the new crown fit perfectly. Having just moved to Washington state from Minnesota, I am so pleased to have found her. She will definitely be my dentist from now on. As cliche as it may sound, this is a great example of how every dentist office should be. For one who hates the dentist to the point of avoiding it, I loved my experience here. The wait took some time but no different than a doctors office. Not to mention I loved seeing the work Dr. Yamashiro had been apart of in other developing countries. I think that speaks volumes in her love and dedication to her work. Seriously, the best dentist office that I have ever been to!

Dr. Yamashiro is an artist. I have had several dentists throughout my life, they are fine but Dr. Yamashiro is far superior. Years ago I had a crown that was too big, put in by another dentist. In my sleep I ground my teeth and eventually broke the tooth above the big crown. Dr. Yamashiro has done 4 crowns for me now. They are tiny and beautiful. Last week I broke another crown that was decades old. I got it replaced today and the big difference in Dr. Yamashiro's crowns is I cannot discern them from my original teeth. They fit and are perfectly shaped. She is so gentle and has tiny little hands. I drive 130 miles to her office and will do so for the rest of my life.

The Hygentist was thorough and answered all of my daughters (Kenna) not Joette as we switched appts. However Dr Yamashiro spent less than 5 minutes with us as new patients. She offered no feedback unless asked direct questions. I feel she did not take time to thoroughly exam my daughter or come with a plan. My other daughter and I have appt's next week and I look forward to giving Dr Yamashiro another opportunity to providing a better impression on how thorough of an exam or how involved she becomes with her patients. She made no recomendations for my daughter today aside from fillings for her cavities despite obvious need for Orthodontics. Did not feel like she wanted to get to know us as people.

I had a crown come out over the weekend. No discomfort so I picked the first time available I found on line.
I was in and out in less then 30 minutes with my repaired/replaced crown. If you ever have a crown come out...keep the crown!

I made an emergency appointment and I did not receive any treatment for the emergency! All they did was take an xray, took two seconds to look at my tooth, and sent me on my way. I was told that I needed to schedule my appointment because emergency appointment are only diagnostic. So they charge me for an emergency exam and xrays, which is almost as much as a full exam, and I have a full exam scheduled later in the month! Um, so what is the point of offering an emergency appointment??? I still had to wait a week to be seen. Now I have to wait even longer! Also, the receptionist/assistant left me with a very uneasy feeling. I like the dentist a lot!

After consulting with my regular dentist, a periodontist, and a dentist specializing in endodontics, Dr. Yamashiro gave me more things to consider in deciding on a treatment for my teeth. I appreciate her knowledge of both conventional and "natural" treatments. I am comfortable with the balance she has between both. I feel she genuinely wants the best solution for me as an individual. She gave freely of her time and my husband and I plan on making her our regular dentist!

I went in with a cold sensitive pain in an upper tooth. An X-ray was taken and Dr. Yamashiro examined me and she determined that the issue was actually a sinus infection that I let get out of control. Very good examination and now I'm working on the sinus infection.

It was amazing how I went in with a jagged tooth and came out with a perm. crown in less then 3 hours. And the 15 -20 minute breaks in between while constructing the crown, I spent in their very high end massage chair totally relaxing. Dr. Carla was very professional, and gentle. Her assistants were both very pleasant and worked well as a team. Office was easy to find on this first visit.
