I have seen the difference that having a healthy, beautiful smile can make. I have always enjoyed being able to give people that happy feeling, which is why I am grateful for all that I have learned in dental school and am thankful that I was blessed with the careful hand and artistic touch it takes to create a beautiful smile.
I see my patients every time they visit. I take time with them and listen to their thoughts and concerns so that I get a clear understanding of their needs and desires. I work as their partner, creating a treatment plan that will give them the smile of their dreams. That's the kind of care I expect for myself. And that's the level of care I want you, as my patient, to experience.
As a native of Bogota, Colombia, I am fluent in Spanish. I have practiced in Stamford for over 15 years and recently opened a second office in Norwalk, CT. I currently live in Easton, CT with my two wonderful children. I enjoy spending my free time with family and friends and providing pro bono dental work for the needy. Although my lifelong passion has always been travel and fast cars (I hope to one day be a Formula 1 superstar), my true goal is to open an orphanage in Colombia or the US. Philanthropy is very close to my heart.

Our family has been so happy to have found Dr. Giraldo's practice! She is an honest and skilled dentist and she has a wonderful staff that takes the stress out of going to the dentist. They are caring and respectful to those who are anxious and they have a beautiful office with friendly staff. Recently, when my 77 year old mom came to visit from out of state she had dental work done by Dr. Giraldo that she had been putting off for years. She made her comfortable and scheduled several appointments at short notice around the Thanksgiving holiday so she could get the work done before she was planning to leave. I cannot recommend them highly enough.

I was so pleased with my visit with Dr. Giraldo. Her office staff made me feel welcome and comfortable immediately! Everyone is so friendly and the office is warm and inviting. I am extremely fearful of the dentist, however, after speaking with Carolina and Carmen, as well as the front office staff, I was calm and comfortable. This was my first visit to this office and I have a lot of work that needs to be done. I am actually looking forward to getting started. I am so grateful to have found Dr. Giraldo's office! Best dentist I've ever had, hands down.
All the staff members are incredibly accommodating, kind and friendly. Literally all of them.
I have irrational dental fears, but everyone there is so wonderful, that I can actually relax with the knowledge that everything will go as smoothly and painlessly as humanly possible.
I always leave incredibly relieved and I've been able to begin to overcome my fears.
I hope I never have to change dentists. :)

My experience with Dr. Giraldo has been outstanding. Three main pieces of feedback:
- Detecting cavities that other dentists did not: I have not had a cavity for 15 years according to my previous dentist. Dr. Giraldo has the latest and greatest piece of equipment that detected cavities in between my teeth that regular x-rays do not easily detect. I was disappointed in my old dentist and upon expressing that I was provided with an answer that the latest and greatest takes time for all dentists to us. I saw the imaging myself and had the cavities fixed by Dr. Giraldo.
- Smooth and painless: About myself, I dislike going to the dentist and I am afraid of needles. None of that mattered with Dr. Giraldo. Great hands, I couldn't even feel the needle the way she administers it and I could not be more relieved and comfortable under the circumstances.
- Service and ease: Great hours of operations and I have had 6 AM and 7 AM appointments before work and the practice is open on Saturdays. Good service at the front desk with email confirmations of appointments making my life easy. Personable staff, clean and newly renovated offices and high end equipment is a plus.

I was horrified that the doctor put on latex gloves for my procedure, even though I have notified them at every visit that I have a latex allergy. This could have been a life-threatening situation! I started coughing, and immediately asked if the gloves were latex and she said they were, so changed them. I was ready to leave RIGHT THEN AND THERE but she had drilled out a filling and needed to put in a new one. I am very concerned about this oversight.

I hate going to the dentist because of my problems with my teeth but I love going to Dr. Giraldo. She is wonderful, she really makes my mouth feel better and I love her assistant. I recommend her to everyone. Also love the front desk staff! Great great practice!

My dental hygienist Kimberly had a wonderful personality and professional manner. She truly helped to make an uncomfortable appointment go smoothly. I did not speak with the dentist much at my appointment, so I cannot rate her. The rest of the staff was kind and courteous, from check-in to check out.
