I have been practicing dentistry since 1997. You can find a list of accomplishments and credentials below, but I'd really prefer that you get to know me as a person first. Life has been quite a journey and I love where I am in life. I grew up in Willow Glen, California. I now reside in Saratoga with my husband and two young children. my goal in life is to have a nice balance between my career and personal life.
For my career, I love being a dentist, it is my passion. My patients are like family and I want them to have a comfortable dental experience with excellent results. It is my priority to provide my patients with the latest procedures and treatments. I believe in beautiful healthy smiles.
For my personal life, I strive to be the best partner to my husband, best mom to my children and best daughter to my parents. Like many of us, I try to do it all…there are days when I wonder why…But there are days when my patients are happy with their anterior veneers or when I got a patient out of miserable pain or when my son comes up to me, proudly hands me a wilted dandelion that makes it all worth it.
As for my credentials, I graduated from Willow Glen High in 1988. (seems so long ago) I have a B.S. in Physiology from U C Davis, 1997 and a B.S. in Dental Materials from UC San Francisco, 1997. A doctorate in Dental Science, U C San Francisco, 1997.

Doctor Phan was a very professional Dentist and explained every procedure that needs to be done in detail. I am person that hates getting shots but her office had the most updated equipment where I did not even feel the shot. I would recommend my family and friends to her practice even if they are out of network

Dr. Phan was awesome! She showed the why behind the things that needed fixed on my teeth and educated me. Dr. Phan was gentle and my kids (ages 9 and 11) liked her also. She spent a lot of time with us, getting to know each one of her new patients. I love the fact that she can do 99% of what I need done, with my teeth, right in her office. From dental cleaning to orthodontists, she can do it. I hate going to the dentist but she made it easier!

I have been seeing Dr. Phan for the past several years since coming to her with a cracked tooth which needed a crown, neglected teeth and fear of pain. She has worked wonders on my mouth and offered different options to minimize anxiety. I have never had discomfort during procedures and opt for nitrous gas to help with relaxation. She has also always worked with me with my insurance to minimize out of pocket cost. She is the best and my teeth look the best they have in years!

I most highly recommend Dr. Catalina Phan. The office is beautiful and inviting inside and the office staff is very friendly. Dr. Catalina Phan is a thorough professional that clearly knows her work. Her knowledge, skills and techniques are very impressive, as are the state of the art tools and technology that she uses. I hadn't been to a dentist in a few years and I couldn't believe the difference from "old school" dentistry to the new and modern. I only wished I hadn't waited so long to make an appointment. Dr. Phan is very gentle and caring. She did a wonderful job on my teeth and really made me feel comfortable. She looks out for the best interest of her patient every step of the way.

It was short notice, and I got the appointment the next day to get my cracked tooth fixed. I got in right away when I got to the office without any wait. I was given some anesthesia and fitted for a crown. The whole process went smoothly and efficiently, and best of all, it costed me less than everywhere else I checked.
