Dr. Cruz has wanted to be a dentist since he was eight years old, inspired by his own dentist as a child. No members of his family are dentists, however a very close friend of his is a dentist, who served as a strong inspiration to him to pursue excellence in dentistry. Dr Cruz is always keeping himself updated on continued dental education and exceeding board requirements.
He enjoys spending time with his family, skiing and walking his dog "Sushi". Dr. Cruz is a member of several dental societies, including: American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry, Academy of General Dentistry, Academy of Oseointegration, International Congress of Oral Implantology, and International Association of Orthodontics. Dr. Cruz was awarded a fellowship degree from the American Association of Implant Dentistry on August 2011.
He has volunteered for the head start program, providing oral hygiene education and fluoride for those who cannot afford proper health care. He also was a volunteer for the ARMOM, Arkansas Mission of Mercy, providing free dental care for hundreds of patients from poor areas of the country.
Dr Cruz philosophy of treatment is to provide compassionate, quality dental care.
