Dr. Lazar is an excellent dentist. He is very professional and takes the time to explain things very well. He gives options for treatment. He is very knowledgeable, skilled and thorough in his examination. HIs rapport with his patients is exceptional. I have been seeing him for the last 4 years and am so glad I switched to him as my dentist. I highly recommend him.

Dr. Chad Lazar graduated from the University of Pennsylvania School of Dental Medicine in 2006 and has been practicing dentistry in the New York area ever since! He completed a general practice residency in dentistry in 2007 at Montefiore Medical center, a division of Albert Einstein.
Dr. Lazar has been trained at the prestigious Pankey Institute in Key Biskayne, FL where he has adopted a philosophy grounded in achieving a healthy, stable dentition. He has specialty training in treating all temporomandibular joint disorders and dedicates hundreds of hours of his continuing education in these subjects.
Dr. Lazar lives in the NYC area with his wife and daughter. When he is not working, he enjoys an active lifestyle- He enjoys running, traveling, photography, songwriting, and singing with All Essential Voices, the resident choir of the New York Pops Orchestra at Carnegie Hall.

The best dentist in NYC. And best hygienists and staff. My previous dentist missed two small cavities at the gum line. Dr. Lazar and his staff found them and fixed them. Also great for night guards and whitening trays. Love this place. Thank you Dr. Chad!

Dr. Lazar is a wonderful dentist. He is calm, welcoming, confident and patient. He explains every step of each procedure and carries them out with superior technique. I am thoroughly impressed by him and excited to finally have a dentist who can do the work I need with skill. I have many health problems and I am hearing impaired, so my case is particularly complex, but after 2 painless appointments and outstanding results, Dr. Lazar has earned my trust. I highly recommend him without hesitation. I am actually looking forward to my next appointment!

Since I just moved to the city and was in need of a dentist, I sought out recommendations. Dr. Lazar was highly recommended to me by others and I can happily say the recommendations turned out to be right on target. Dr. Lazar called me in advance of my appointment to introduce himself and to get background info on me and my dental history. I have rarely had a Doc or dentist do this. When I arrived at the office he came out and greeted me in the waiting room. Once I filled out a few quick forms (I was able to fill out most of the forms online before arriving - great!) the wait time was less than 5 minutes. Once in the dental chair, Dr. Lazar was a real pro. He took time to explain everything, discuss my dental issues and answer questions. His exam was extremely thorough and painless. Once complete, he cleaned my teeth. He did the cleaning and not a hygienist. Very rare indeed!! He was gentle, took great care to make sure I was comfortable and clearly worked over every detail with my teeth. Afterwards he took photos of my mouth that he blew up to show me a small problem that needed to be repaired. I am coming back next month. I had really been apprehensive about finding a new dentist since moving to NYC. I am so pleased I found Dr. Lazar and I feel like I found just the right person to handle my dental needs. I would not hesitate to recommend him to anyone in need of a reputable and talented dentist.

Dr. Lazar is fantastic! He spent over an hour with me during my appointment because his assistant called in sick. He was very thorough during the cleaning and took the time to explain to me what he was going to do during each step of the process. He also spent some time toward the end of my appointment walking me through each of my X-Rays and discussing what might lead to trouble in the future. Going to the dentist is never going to be fun - but Dr. Lazar made the experience as painless as possible. I highly recommend him.
