I am very particular and extra sensitive when it comes to my teeth. He was so accommodating and genuinely listened to what I needed. He did such an amazing job on my root canal that I didn’t feel anything and I was super comfortable.

Dr. Chinatu Ego-Osuala earned his dental degree from Howard University College of Dentistry in 2011, where he participated in the Honors prosthodontic program and graduated with a distinction award in restorative dentistry. After dental school, Dr. Ego-Osuala completed a one-year general Practice residency program at Brookdale university Hospital in 2012, where he honed his skills with numerous procedures as well as his ability working well with children. After completing his Residency in Brooklyn at Brookdale, Dr. Ego-Osuala participated in a one-year full mouth reconstruction course with focus on Aesthetics and Occlusion rehabilitation at New York University College of Dentistry Linhart from where he received a certificate of completion. He maintains Professional memberships in the American Dental Association, Maryland State Dental Association, and Southern Maryland Dental Society.
Dr. Ego-Osuala is married to his beautiful wife Islamiat, and they have a darling little girl. In his spare time, He enjoys reading and staying active by playing soccer, basketball, running and weight training.

My hygienist was the best part of my visit. But the fact this practice does not bill and all payments are due up front really mad my visit frustrating and the fact they are closed Friday. Ashley the receptionist is snippy and did really care for her personality and missing nails.

Dr. Ego is very personable and is super knowledgeable. The entire office has your best interest in mind and the wait time was less than 5 minutes. I got a cleaning and the hygienist is very thorough and detailed. This is officially my favorite dental office EVER!

Dr. Chinatu is an excellent dentist! He is very knowledgeable and really cares about the condition of his patient's teeth. He educates and encourages a his patients to adopt health dental habits. Most of all he has one of the cleanest dental offices I have ever seen!

Dr. Ego-Osuala has an unusual bedside manner. His assistant looked concerned when I told her I occasionally forgot to floss. She told me he was going to lecture me for a while on that... She was correct. While we was friendly, he spent almost 30 minutes talking to me about flossing when I was honest that I floss most of the time but not everyday. I have never had a cavity and my teeth and gums are very healthy which Dr. Ego-Osuala acknowledged. The lecture was way, way, way, too long and awkward. He also took breaks to go work on another client. My dental cleaning took over an hour because of this. I won't be going back. It was strange.

Highly Recommended! - Made a somewhat random choice visiting this Dentist and was very pleased with my experience. Short wait time and the staff was very courteous. While Dr. Chinatu doesn't do crown placements yet he recommended me to someone who could. I decided to get a teeth cleaning and he was able to break down in simple terms the problems I've been having with my teeth and was highly professional. I definitely see myself returning, especially with it comes to areas of preventive care. You will not be disappointed with your experience here.

Dr. Ego was friendly, straightforward and efficient. He gave good advice that I had not heard before rather than the obvious (i.e. don't eat sweets, don't bite rocks, etc.) The supporting staff were also friendly and didn't seem miserable, which often seems to be the case in the medical field (which I work in myself...). I look forward to having him as my regular dentist.

Dr. Ego-Osuala was extremely kind and put me at ease. The front desk staff and dental assistant were also great! I really appreciated the front desk staff checking my insurance and letting me know ahead of time how much my procedure would be. That may not seem like a big deal but I've had my fair share of surprises on my medical bills!

Receptionist and Doctor greeted me right away. The reception team called my insurance to verify I was set up in Maryland, due to a recent move. They were very patient and kind, giving me extra resources and advice as a new resident.
The doctor had excellent communication skills and bedside manner and made sure I was not in any immediate pain or discomfort.
Coming from someone who moves frequently, I have seen a LOT of great and horrible Dental Offices, and this was by far the best experience I have had. I will surely be a long time patient and refer Dr. Chinatu to anyone who asks for a great Dentist in the area.

I thought the appointment went well. I would say it's very apparent that the office is new and I think if I were them I would make sure all processes were working efficiently before bringing in patients. Most of the time I was there it was waiting on computers to work or missing tools to be located. That's really my only criticism. The dentist was great
