Dr. Christina Papageorgiou was born and raised outside of Chicago, Illinois. She received an honors biology degree from the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor, and went on to finish her dental degree at the University of Michigan School of Dentistry. She then completed a General Practice Residency at the University of Illinois, Chicago. Dr. Papageorgiou has been honored by academia, receiving awards such as:
Pierre Fauchard Academy Award for Excellence in Clinical Dentistry
First Place in the American Association of Dental Research (Chicago, Illinois)
Second Place in the International Association of Dental Research (Chiba, Japan)
First Place Award from Special Care Dentistry Association
After moving to Massachusetts, Dr. Papageorgiou taught dental students about crown and bridge work at Boston University, and also instructed students as part of her duties as dental director of South Boston Health Center. She started in private practice in Framingham, and has worked in the Metrowest area for nine years. Due to her commitment to providing the highest standard of care, she has taken continuums from highly regarded Spears® and Pankey® institutes and continues to take many more hours of continuing education in all aspects of dentistry. She strives to always bring the best that dentistry has to offer to her patients.
Dr. Christina Papageorgiou is a proud member of the American Dental Association, the Academy of General Dentistry, Metropolitan District Dental Society, and the Massachusetts Dental Society. She is married to Demetri, and they have four beautiful children. She enjoys spending time with her family, running, biking, artistic work, and gardening.
