Dr. Christopher S. Freeman obtained his Doctor of Dental Medicine degree from the University of Kentucky College of Dentistry. He graduated as the Valedictorian of his 2001 class and was inducted into the Omicron Kappa Upsilon and Pierre Fauchard National Dental Honor Society. Shortly thereafter, he earned a master’s degree in Orthodontics and Dento-Facial Orthopedics from the University of Michigan School of Dentistry.
Dr. Freeman established Freeman Orthodontics in 2004, with the focus on customer service and excellent clinical outcomes. With his outstanding academic achievements and diverse clinical experience, he and his team quickly became one of the premier orthodontic offices in South Florida. He is committed to providing quality orthodontic care to the residents of Plantation, Lighthouse Point, Fort Lauderdale and the surrounding communities.
Dr. Freeman is a published author on his expertise in orthodontics and has been published in the American Journal of Orthodontics and Dentofacial Orthopedics (the primary journal of his profession), the Journal of NeuroVirology, and The Journal of Clinical Dentistry, all for his original and innovative research and ideas. He has been asked to speak on the topics of technology in orthodontics, multidiscipline treatment of complicated orthodontic problems and children’s orthodontics. He is also one of the few orthodontists that has actually submitted his cases to the American Board of Orthodontics and been awarded the title of Diplomate of the American Board of Orthodontics.
Dr. Freeman is the past president of the Broward County Dental Association and maintains active membership in several organizations, including the American Dental Associations, American Association of Orthodontists, Florida Association of Orthodontists and the Broward County Dental Association. He is also a member of the College of Diplomates of the American Board of
Orthodontics and the Broward County Craniofacial Team.
Dr. Freeman prides himself on being down to earth and focused on communication and customer service. At Freeman Orthodontics you will be seen by an orthodontist at every appointment and Dr. Freeman is always available to address any questions you may have.
In his free time, Dr. Freeman loves going to the Keys with his wife, Myra and dogs, Jet and Penny. They enjoy fishing, scuba diving and boating.

I walked into the office and the receptionist already knew who I was. They had my name on a chalk board welcoming me to their office. Everyone I encountered was nice and professional. Dr. Freeman was also very nice, professional and informative. He made me feel comfortable. I was gonna shop around before I chose an orthodontist but my visit went so well that this is where I'll get my braces. This was the first Dr I visited and I couldn't be more happier to be working with him in the next couple of weeks.

We have been coming to Dr. Freeman's office for many years.Whether it was a sibling with braces or to put a permanent retainer on to hold teeth, we have always been more than satisfied with the end results.The staff is well-trained and knowledgeable and very friendly.Dr. Freeman is a wealth of knowledge in his profession and wonderful to talk to. He and his staff make the patients quite relaxed.We would highly recommend them!!
