My first visit to the dentist was when I was 17 to get a root canal. I was terrified and rightfully so, drills, pulling, numbing, 2 hours in the chair, I'm not from people who encouraged regular dentist visits, they were terrified too. In college I learned better oral hygiene so moving here in 2008, I had visited dentists but still apprehensive and often waited too long. I've been with Dr. Silvoy since my move to Raleigh and every time I go, it is wonderful. He and his staff put me on an easy regiment to restore my dental health which took several months but now, years later I have no problems. His staff are helpful, gentle, kind and so personable I can't imagine being afraid of these people! I have so many friends who are still terrified or embarrassed to seek proper dental care and I probably won't ever love going to the dentist but Dr. Silvoy and his staff make it a pleasant doable experience which says a lot. thank you for that and keep up the great work

First time my visit to the dentist was actually fun! The staff were so friendly and helpful. The hygienist and dentist were so knowledgeable and spent a lot of time explaining certain things.

Love Dr. Silvoy and the staff at Better Dentistry! My family has followed them to their new office and still appreciate seeing the same familiar faces and receiving excellent care! They are very helpful with making appointments that fit my family's busy schedule, and the kids don't mind going to the dentist knowing that they are treated so well.
