Dr. Wietfeldt grew up in Michigan on his family’s farm. While in school, he was a dental assistant for a local dentist. He was accepted into the University of Louisville School of Dentistry and upon graduating, he completed his AEGD residency program in Birmingham, AL at The Foundry Dental Center. His training was focused on providing care for the underserved and 40+ addiction recovery programs. He refined his post-graduation focus on IV sedation, full arch dental implant surgeries and restorations, along with aesthetic and functional full mouth reconstruction. These procedures changed the lives of so many patients in need that could not afford this type of high-level care. He loves to restore the smile and function of patients that no longer think it is possible to do so. Dr. Wietfeldt performs IV sedation.
