I am so pleased that I chose Dr. Bowles' office for my check-up and cleaning. It had been 7 years since my last dental visit after a painful and traumatic experience prior. Dr. Bowles and all of his staff were very disarming and made me feel at ease. They explained everything they were doing and why. Having a step-by-step explanation took the fear of the unknown away and gave me less to worry about. I expected my return to the dentist to be much more painful and frightening (especially after 7 years of no cleanings), but they took me under their wing and gave me the best cleaning I've had. The office is very clean and surprisingly soothing. Lu Ann at the front desk is SUPER friendly and makes you feel welcome right from the start when you make your appointment over the phone. That same friendliness is there waiting for you at the time of your visit as well. I actually look forward to my next visit!

To all new patients wanting a cleaning, please know that the pre described time allotment of 60 miniutes is for returning patients of record only. All new patients will need an exam done first beforehand and this will take extra time.
Dr. Bowles is very enthusiastic about adhesive dentistry and has practiced mercury free for more than 20 years while participating in numerous courses of continuing education that emphasized esthetic materials and techniques.
He continues his participation with continuing education courses for implant dentistry and has a team of trusted professionals to deliver excellent results. Dr. Bowles is a member of the American Dental Society, California Dental Society and San Diego County Dental Society.
He has gained the trust of dedicated patients by his dedication to continuing education in dentistry, understanding essential needs for good oral health for his patients and focusing on his patients’ desires.
Dr. Bowles, after serving as a naval dental officer has been serving the needs of his community for over 20 years and is located in the west end of Mission Valley.

I started with Dr. Bowles in 1982, have sent many other people to him and all rave about how wonderful the experience is. From receptionist to hygenists, you are treated like family. 5*'s.
