In 1965, I started my under grad training at Wilkes College (now Wilkes University) in Wilkes Barrie, PA, as pre-med major in their seven year program with the University of Pennsylvania Dental School.I started Penn Dental in 1969 and graduated in 1972. While at Penn Dental, I joined the Penn Dental Naval Reserve unit and was commission as a dental officer. At graduation, I was promoted to full Lieutenant and reported for active duty. I served my two years at the Philadelphia Naval Base, and stayed in the reserves for two more years. I consider my two years of active duty the best residency I could ever experience. I had great senior officers who were always happy to let me pick their brains with questions.
After active duty, I joined Dr. Giordano in his practice in Havertown in 1974. After his retirement in 1983, it became known as Havertown Dental Associates. In 1996, I left to start my solo practice in the Delaware County Medical Building in the Lawrence Park shopping center. In 2007, I was recruiting by Penn Dental for two days a week, as a clinic instructor in the restorative clinic to work with the juniors and seniors to help them take what they learned in pre-clinical and apply it to patients to solve their dental problems.
Dr. Resue and his staff take great pride in providing the most up to date and comprehensive treatment to their patients. We provide family dentistry, cosmic dentistry, and implant restoration. We work with all surgeons who place implants, or we have surgeons we can recommed.
As a clinic instructor at the UPenn Dental School, Dr. Resue keeps up on all of the latest techniques. He also belongs to a study club that brings in the top speakers in the restorative fields.
