Dr. Sommerville has been practicing dentistry in MD and GA since 2004. He received his dental degree from New York University College of Dentistry and a BS degree in Chemistry from Morgan State University. A native of Jamaica, he practiced there from August 2011 to August 2013, where he worked for the Southern Regional Health Authority treating various patients at a number of clinics throughout the parish of Clarendon. One of his noted achievements is the founding of Smilerite Dental Care in May Pen, Jamaica. He has also been on volunteer healthcare trips to the island. Jamaica is also his favorite vacation destination. In his spare time, he keeps abreast with the major soccer leagues across the world and plays recreationally as a hobby. His favorite movie is Crimson Tide and he admires the writings of Malcolm Gladwell.
In treating each patient I see, I ask myself this simple yet profound question, “Is this my best effort?”. As my patient, you can rest assured that I strive to exceed my best with each and every patient interaction.

I never go to the dentist... but I had no choice... so I decided to try Marietta Dental and Implant Center because of all the great reviews. This place is amazing. I actually left smiling. The service from the front desk all the way to Dr. Sommerville himself was unbelievable. They were truly concerned with my comfort and the Dr. created a plan for me to get my dental health back on track. I have found my Dentist!
