Dr. Swayze grew up in Plano, TX. She received her undergraduate degree in Biology with minors in Chemistry and French from Southern Methodist University. Additionally, she earned a Master’s Degree in Microbiology from Georgia State University. She received her Doctor of Dental Medicine degree from Georgia Regents University in Augusta, GA. While in dental school, Dr. Swayze was consistently recognized on the Dean’s list for her academic achievements. She was also the recipient of the Outstanding Achievement award in Operative Dentistry as well as earned a nomination for the 2013 American College of Dentists Professionalism Award.
Dr. Swayze is dedicated to the newest advancements in dentistry and keeps up to date with the latest technologies through numerous continuing education classes. She believes in taking the time to listen to her patients’ needs and providing them with a calm, caring and professional atmosphere. She is an active member of the American Dental Association, American Association of Cosmetic Dentistry, Academy of General Dentistry, and Texas Dental Association.
Dr. Swayze lives in Plano, TX with her husband Garrett. Together, they enjoy dancing the Argentine Tango, traveling the world, learning new languages, and spending time with family and friends.
