I have been seen by Dr. Kang many times and have appreciated his straight forward approach to dentistry. The wait time before being seen has always been 10 minutes or less. The staff is also very helpful and courteous.

Dr. Kang has practiced over 12 years in AZ and provides a wide range of dental services:
including cleanings, fillings, restorative dentistry and extractions, as well as cosmetic dentistry
such as implants, bonding, crowns, bridges and porcelain veneers, Zoom, and BOTOX Dentistry.
Botox Dentistry and Fillers are available for consultations.
From a multi-cultural background, Dr. Kang was born in Sao Paulo, Brazil. He is Korean and has resided in several cities across the country from Los Angeles to New York. He was an All-American Swimmer and now enjoys playing golf.
At New York University College of Dentistry (NYU), Dr. Kang was Class President and earned the Dean’s Award in Excellence in Academics, Leadership and Dentistry while earning his Doctor of Dental Surgery (D.D.S.) degree.
His bachelor's degree was a double major in Biology and Asian Studies at the University of Michigan. ( Go Blue!)
Dr Kang is a Clinical Professor at Midwestern University Dental Institute in Glendale, AZ. He was awarded the 2012 MWU President's Award.
Dr. Kang is a Board Member of the Arizona Dental Foundation.

Dr Kang and staff took their time cleaning my teeth and listening to my concerns. I hadn't been to a dentist in awhile due to work and life so they took extra time to make sure all the plaque had been scrubbed out. After the cleaning my mouth felt so much better and I felt a little guilty and disgusted at how dirty my teeth were when I first went in. They helped me setup my next cleaning and I'll be sure not to miss it.

I highly recommend Dr. Kang and his team. Dr. Kang is honest, trustworthy, and thorough. His staff is extremely courteous and easy to work with and his office is very inviting. Unlike many dentists, Dr. Kang always takes the time to sit down with you one on one to discuss your individual needs and desires as a patient to be sure you are comfortable and fully informed.

I could not agree more with the other one star review. I felt as if I was manipulated into buying extra product (special mouth rinse and toothpaste) and was told I needed tons of work done. I HIGHLY recommend a second opinion. He seems like a nice guy and makes you feel comfortable while in the office, but after leaving, I really did feel that I was taken advantage of and I do not plan on returning.

Great visit. Dr. Kang is very personable and friendly. He explains everything to you and makes recommendations with no pressure. Staff is very polite and makes sure you are comfortable - beginning with a bottle of water on your arrival!
Xrays, cleaning, discussion - 1 hour on the nose.

Great dentist especially if you are looking for a doctor with great bed side manner and listens to your needs. Dr Kang made me feel comfortable even when I knew I neglected going in to see a dentist. Hands down the best experience and finally without any pain. I should have written this sooner and cant wait to go back and thank him and his office for it.

Booked my first visit online. There was no wait. Luv that. Friendly staff and they helped me figure out which insurance I had. Dr Kang was outgoing and professional. Listened to why I was in and presented a very thorough plan which impressed me. I can tell from my visit why he teaches. He took the time to explain the work needed. This entire process was smooth and easy. I say go see Dr Kang and his staff if you want an office that shows they care.

Efficiency! Pure Dental works like a well oiled machine. Dr. Kang and staff really made the whole experience easy. I filled out my paperwork and didn't even get a chance to sit down before I was brought back to the room. Super fast and no wait. Dr. Kang was very friendly and treated me with a lot of respect when I had some questions about what I needed to get done. He walked me through everything that I needed and gave me my best options that I actually understood. I knew exactly what I needed to get done and he gave me time to think about it. Go somewhere else. He is a very smart guy but very manipulative. I was a first time patient and was definitely taken advantage of. He will try and say you need all kinds of work done and up sell you on products (toothpaste and rinse in my case). I cannot stress enough that you get a second opinion at least before getting all the work done there. In order for my review to not be taken down I cannot give specifics, but do not be fooled and take whatever he says from an objective point of view. Very "nice" and talkative, but unethical.

I was very impressed with how involved pure dental was with our community. His office was organized and most importantly I felt comfortable in Doctor Kangs chair. Doctor Kang is very gentle and his office staff is very accommodating and knowledgeable.
