Friendly and welcoming atmosphere, would recommend to a friend, doctor was understanding of my situation and did all that he could to make the visit as painless as possible. In the end, he recommended that the tooth be pulled instead of trying to sell me on crowns and root canals. I appreciated his honesty and feel that I have found a great dentist.

Dr. Pestana is amazing. I am very scared to go to the dentist, he always calms me down, explains everything and put me @ ease. He is very gentle and makes sure I am comfortable throughout the entire visit, I will go to no one else! I refer him to everyone

Initial visit with dentist was fine, but vey poor responsiveness by office to questions posted via email and via website messaging service.
Receptionist Initially insisted that I was not covered by insurance -- very indignant when I insisted that I was -- and refused to acknowledge that they had erred, even after insurer contacted them to verify my coverage plan. (Instead receptionist insisted that insurance company was to blame for her own wrong mistake.)
She even refused to explain why she cancelled my original appointment.
6 days after initial visit, I am still awaiting a followup contact that was supposed to happen right away.
