Daniel Poelman and his staff were very friendly and helpful. Dr Poelman took his time to make sure that I understood everything he was telling me and spent more time with me than any other Dentist I have been to. He seemed to really care about my dental health and took the time to get to know me and ask questions which was very refreshing. I would definitely recommend Platinum Dental Care to my friends and family.

Dr. Danny Poelman was born in Northern California and raised in Salt Lake City, Utah in the Sugar House area. He received his clinical training at University of Southern California School of Dentistry. Before returning to his home state, Dr. Poelman practiced outside of Portland, Oregon under the guidance of the leader of the Advanced Implant Institute. There he received training for dental implant placement, root canal therapy, Invisalign, wisdom teeth extractions, cosmetic dentistry, diode lasers, and he also loves working with kids. As a Business Management major at Brigham Young University, Dr. Poelman received training in organizational skills and leadership. This training suits him well for providing his patients with dental care that is customer-friendly and patient-centered. His compassion in dentistry stems from the unrelenting example of a wise mother and his love for people.
Service has played a big part in the life of Dr. Poelman. In high school, he led the effort at Highland High School to raise $15,000 for the Make A Wish Foundation. He is also an Eagle Scout. Later, serving a two year mission in India, he was able to work hands-on with the poorest of the poor. The time in India gave him a unique perspective on the impoverished condition of massive amounts of people in the world. Dr. Poelman has carried this experience with him to drive his desire to continually serve people in need. For four years, Dr. Poelman gave Saturdays monthly at volunteer dental clinics throughout Los Angeles with the organization, AYUDA.
In 2005, he met his soulmate, Lindsay, working alongside her in Thailand while helping rebuild the houses of Tsunami victims. They married the following year. Now they have a daughter, Maya, and a son, Marcus.

It was such a great experience! Dr. Poelman is a very confident person & knows what he is talking about! He is very nice & friendly! The hygienist was very thourogh with her cleanings & very friendly as well!

Staff was incredibly helpful and kind. I am always terrified of going to the dentist, but everyone was so nice and made me feel at ease. Dr. Poelman was extremely personable and explained everything thouroughly. I will definitely be reccomending Platinum Dentil to all of my family and friends.
