I took my (reluctant) husband in for his first dental visit in several years. He felt right at ease with Dr. Poulson and his staff immediately. All the members of the staff have a great sense of humor. My husband was so relaxed and comfortable, he's not likely to be at all apprehensive when it's time to return for another visit!

Dr. Daniel S. Poulson has been practicing dentistry in Holladay since 1978. After receiving his BA in economics from Brigham Young University, Dr. Poulson made the journey to San Francisco to receive his DDS from the University of the Pacific, School of Dentistry. He is proud to provide personal care for all of his patients (who range in age from three to ninety-three) at his family-oriented dental practice in Holladay.
An established member of the community, Dr. Poulson now cares for the children of the children who came to our practice over 30 years ago. He does his best to treat everyone who walks through our doors as an important and individual member of his family. Always respectful of your time, Dr. Poulson keeps closely to his schedule and makes a point to ensure that you are always reminded of your appointment.
Education is a high priority for Dr. Poulson, and he continues to average 80 hours of continuing education each year and encourages his staff to attend these classes as well. His areas of dental study are varied so that he can continue to offer you and your family advanced dental treatment in all areas. Dr. Poulson is a member of the American Dental Association, the Utah Dental Association, and the Salt Lake District Dental Society. He is also a Fellow of the International College of Dentists.
Dr. Poulson and his wife Marie have been married for over 40 years. They have five children and six grandchildren, ages one to seven. The members of his family currently live in San Francisco, Seattle, Boise, and Salt Lake City, so he and his wife travel a lot to keep up with them.

Dr. Poulson is such a great dentist, and a great person as well. He takes care of me (and that's NOT and easy thing) its a shame he is happily married. Emilee and Tiffany always make me feel very safe, I love seeing what the new posters will be when I sit down in the chair.I don't like going to the dentist but they always make me feel special and that they care about me. I would never go anywhere else. they are stuck with me.

I absolutely love this dentist! I had to leave him several years ago because of my insurance change. But luckily my insurance excepted him again, so I began seeing him about 9 months ago. And he is been nothing but helpful! He has done several things that my prior dentist said was not possible in order to help fix some of my teeth that were bothering me. I really, really love Dr. Poulson and all of the office staff. This visit just like all other visits-it was awesome, it was quick and, I was in and out! My teeth feel great, thank you again Dr. Poulson & staff!!

I love visiting Dr. Poulson and his friendly staff. It feels like a visit with old friends and not a dounting trip to the dentist. They always run on time, making my time feel as valuble as theirs I make my appointment at lunch get my teeth cleaned and still have time to eat and get back to work on time.
