Being fluent in Both Korean and English, I am able to provide excellent service and convenience to Flushing community. Dr. Sim is very nice, thorough and very knowledgeable. She was able to see all the complexities around my teeth and make solid recommendations. Her whole staff is very nice and I appreciated their kindness very much.
In my dental cleaning, I had a lot of pain and the Dr. moved very quickly as a way to get it done faster (I think) but it just increased the pain. She then slowed down and that was much better. Dr. Sim put me on fluoride treatment to help with the pain spots.
Only observation that made me uncomfortable as a patient was that Dr. Sim would move from cleaning my teeth to go to another patient and then come back to me without explaining what was going on. I felt multi tasked and uninformed. It turned out that my cleaning was done and that there was a fluoride treatment she was going to do for me (appreciate!) but I didn't know it as it was happening (no communication with me and my mouth was wide open so I couldn't talk / ask questions).
In the end, I felt that Dr. Sim knows her stuff and she's very nice. I would have liked more communication and maybe it's just my personality that I like to know what to expect.
I would return and would recommend her as a solid dentist who is knowledgeable and fair.

She is the best dentist in Queens! I met her when I was pregnant of my 2child and well I noticed since then that she was good clinically and also as a person. I'll never forget that She was able to open her office to see me for a procedure because I was pregnant and knew I need it to see a dentist and asap and I work full time and weekends r my only option and although she was off the day she saw me. I went to see her last Saturday without appt because she's usually booked, she did 2fillings. She made my day! I really needed to get them done ASAP. Now. I feel much better and confident and I'm looking forward for next visit. As a single mom we got to think twice before spending $ but let me tell u her fees are reasonable and affordable. Great dentist, good staff I highly recommend anyone to see her if u r looking for an good and honest dentist!!!!

Would help to put up a landscape letter sized sign with the name of the wifi network and the password. Waiting room could use a refresh. Some display material look old and faded, and it would be better to get rid of them. Also the coffee machine would be better near the front door than have a seat there were a patient could have their leg hit by the front door.

I think she has a very good manner and was very patient. But after the operation she did, I found my front tooth chipped a little. Since I don't look at the mirrior that much, I am not sure if she did it or I had that before. But I am very very upset now.

I chose Dr. Sim based on the reviews I read here. I was as apprehensive as most because it had been a while since I last visited a dentist but as soon as I walked in the office, I was a bit more relaxed. I saw a sign that put me just a little at ease. When I met with Dr. Sim all apprehensiveness was gone UNTIL I saw the needle and bawled :(. She somehow gave me that needle without me knowing!! I have found my new dentist and she will be the only one!
