She gained additional training by completing a two year residency at Coler-Goldwater Specialty Hospital & Nursing Facility and Bellevue Hospital Center in New York, serving as chief resident in her second year. She is a part of Little River Family Dental.
Dr. Powell strives to provide her patients with the best dental experience they have ever had. Dentistry is her passion, and it is important to her that she helps educate her patients, and the community, on how critical the condition of the mouth is to their overall well-being, including how they interact with others, how they feel about themselves, and how healthy they are. She enjoys every minute of it, and it makes her smile when she sees her patients' restored smiles. From Dr. Powell: “Dentistry is an art, and art makes people happy and puts smiles on faces.”
