discharge he entered the medical field as a Registered MRI Technologist/
Radiologic Technologist in 1990. Dr. David Dillard attended University of
Michigan School of Dentistry, where he received his Doctor of Dental Surgery
and has continued his education in other dental services. Dr. Dillard is
experienced with Fillings, Root Canal Therapy, Dental Implants, Crowns and
Dentures/Partials. He is also a member of Academy of Gp Orthodontics. He
established Wake Cross Roads Dentistry in 2007, and has been serving in
healthcare since 1988 providing exceptional care for many patients and their
families. He continues to donate his time to youth organizations like Great
Oaks Youth Development Centers. He enjoys playing golf, art, comic
collecting and home brewing.

Dr. David and his staff are extremely professional and friendly. My care plan and insurance information were explained clearly and thoroughly. My predicament was a bit of an urgent matter, so when I say my experience was a pleasant, it is shocking even to me.

My father had an initial consultation there. The receptionist took her time registering us after all the info was already provided. Then there was a 30-45 min wait before the dental hygienist took us back and another 1hr perhaps before the dentist saw us. Their x-ray machine was no functioning and had my dad go back and forth a couple of times. My father is disabled and they had no consideration for his physical capabilities. Then once the consultation was over, the receptionist was supposed to give us a next visit follow up with the details the dentist suggested we get done. We literally waited for about 30 min or more and we just left w/o the dentist recommendation treatment sheet (the summary you get after the end of all visits.)

My son was in need for a root canal, not only did they accept our insurance but we were able to get an appointment the next day. Dr Dillard and his staff are Wonderful!! My son thinks that Niki is the coolest! We were very comfortable and would not hesitate to return and recommend all ages to go to Dr Dillard for their dental needs.

As always Dr. Dillard and his staff were very professional but at the same time everyone is very friendly and welcoming. Over several years I have visited this office and have recommended my family members to Dr. Dillard, even taking my grandson to his office for care myself. Dr. Dillard always takes the time to make sure whatever procedure I am having is as pain free as possible. And Nicki even calls the following day to make sure I am doing okay. I'm thankful this office opened in this area and I really appreciate everyone there.

They were very late taking us back. They presented me with a new policy that parents could no longer be in the room with young children during a cleaning. It made my child, who is five, very uncomfortable. I tried to reason with them and they would not be flexible so this will be our last time with them. Most parents would not tolerate this policy. It opens a dental practice up to possible liability. Businesses might have policies but parents have policies too. Afterall, these are OUR children. They should tell parents of this silly policy at the time the appointment is made. They did not do that in our case and I was not prepared for this.

The girl took the first X-ray without putting the lead apron on. She had to take my left side rear X-ray 3 times. Did NOT Like the office manager implying that extra things were done to me but since they weren't cleared with her, she wasn't going to charge me.

My visits with Dr. Dillard have been great experiences. He and his staff have a way of making you feel comfortable and at ease, which takes the anxieties away if there are any. I would definitely recommend him to anyone looking for a dentist.

The system was down when I arrived, and it took about an hour to get it back up and running. However, the admin staff was very friendly, and my actual visit was great. Dr. Dillard was very professional and knowledgeable. He was also very kind and gentle. I would definitely go back to him for future visits.

My visit was fine, he explain the procedure and it was quick. Only one complain, 2 days later I develop a fever and a lot of pain, call the emergency # but no one called me back. Had to go to Urgent Care, they also call and no one call back. I still don't know what happened. Urgent Care gave me antibiotics and strong pain killer. I recommend they having some one on call for emergencies.
