Every day I’m excited to go into the office to welcome and treat my patients. I can sincerely say I truly love what I do. This is because of the relationships I’m able to build with my patients, their families, and being able to offer them care that improves their lives. It’s a privilege to be a participant in a day that most of us remember forever: that great day when your braces are removed and you see your brand new radiant smile! I look forward to helping you achieve a beautiful, balanced and healthy smile.
After a year at Brigham Young University and 2 years at Portland State University, I received a Bachelor of Science and graduated summa cum laude. I then attended Oregon Health Sciences University Dental School where I graduated at the top of my class with honors. While in Dental school, I spent a lot of time serving in the community. I volunteered as a Boy Scout leader, I provided dental health education to children, teens and adults through various community organizations and schools, and I provided dentistry to the underserved children of Portland. After Dental School, my prior achievements were recognized by world renowned Saint Louis University Department of Orthodontics, who allocated me a spot in their residency program where I received an additional two and a half years of specialized post-graduate training in orthodontics and earned a master’s degree in dentistry. It was here that I learned to combine the art and science of creating a beautiful, balanced and healthy smile using the latest technologies and advanced treatments.
If I’m not out digging dirt with my son Sawyer, reading books with my daughter Sydney, or spending time with my high school sweetheart and wife Lisa, you’ll find me playing or watching just about any sport. When time permits, I love to play in city leagues for basketball, football and tennis and occasionally participate in golf events. I also love to get outdoors and enjoy surfing, mountain biking, and snowboarding. My most prized position and priority is my family, and I feel that building relationships with them, along with those around us, helps our community grow and strengthen and become a richer environment for all.
