Debora Zivari is a generous and dedicated Dentist in Forest Hills, NY. She earned her dental degree from New York University’s School of Dentistry and has been in practice for over 20 years.
Dr. Zivari practices general dentistry and performs everything from regular teeth cleaning to root canals, implants, crowns, and gum surgery. She provides treatments for TMJ, broken teeth, and various dental emergencies. Since opening her private practice 20 years ago, Dr. Zivari has continued to use the latest technology to ensure the best patient satisfaction. Today, this technology includes laser treatments for minimally invasive surgeries.
Outside of the office, Dr. Zivari is a self-declared book worm as well as a mother of two and an avid traveler. She speaks English, Spanish, Farsi, and Russian and is dedicated to providing care for those in need. She has given much of her time to providing dental care for the underprivileged as well as working with the Women’s Association of Hadassah.

Dr. Zivari and her dental hygienist were wonderful! They carefully and comprehensively examined and cleaned my teeth and made recommendations for improving my oral health. Amazing staff. Amazing knowledgeable care. I’ve seen two dentists and a doctor for a diagnosis on a throat condition and none of those professionals gave me a diagnosis or helpful medical advice. Dr Debora Zivari identified the issue immediately, did a thorough exam,gave me great advice, and made me feel cared for and like a priority. The actual office is humble and very small but I personally look for intimate practices because I’ve found the care to be better. In this the care was exceptional.

This is a very specific piece of feedback, but if affected me so profoundly I had to share. At the end of my first appointment, the office manager came in with a full printed copy of my insurance plan and went through each item with me line-by-line. She told me how much the procedures were, and had a little calculator to give me a running total of how much I would be responsible for. We talked it all over before deciding what to move forward with.
I can't believe that every dentist doesn't do this, especially since dental insurance can be so wacky with approvals for things. It's such a huge panic when you get that bill in the mail weeks later, not knowing what's going to be in it because you have no idea what the original price was (let alone if you're covered).
It was such a kind gesture, and made me feel so safe in their care. I don't ever want to look for another dentist.
