I've been looking for a good doctor in Los Angeles for a quite some time and few of them I went to were simply trying to make me pay as much as I can without trying to actually help me. Doctor Gharibian on the other hand was very different. He right away told me what needs to be done and despite the fact, that going to a dentist was never my favorite adventure since I was a child, all procedures he did were painless. Big shot out to hi receptionist who was very accommodating with my rescheduling due to work obstacles. I would strongly recommend Dr. Gharibian.

Dr. Derick Gharibian DDS has dreamt of being a dentist since he was a child. In 2001, he made strides toward that dream, graduating from the University of Southern California, with a Doctorate in Dental Surgery.
Dr. Gharibian is a Fellow of International Congress of Oral Implantology and is a member of the Academy of General Dentistry and the American Association of Functional Orthodontics. He demonstrates a commitment to ongoing education through various trainings and seminars. He studied Advanced Concepts in Cosmetic Dentistry at the University of Southern California, School of Dentistry; completed a 24 Month Program in Orthodontics, Diagnosis, and Treatment with Fixed Straight Arch wire Appliance; achieved Invisalign and Noble Biocare Training; attended an Endopore Dental Implant System, Clinical Seminar, and Advanced Surgical Hands-on Seminar. Solving Challenges of Implant Dentistry; completed Surgical and Prosthetic Dental Implant Curriculum and Esthetic Implant Dentistry, as well as Key Concepts and Advanced Surgical Implant Techniques; attended the International Congress of Oral Implantology Mini Residency and the Advanced Implant Therapy Training on aesthetic Implants, as well as the Postgraduate Training on Craniomandibular Disorder and the Mini Residency in Institute of Advanced TMJ Studies.
All this training has given Dr. Gharibian a reputation for a gentle, comforting chair-side manner. Known for being conservative in his dental referrals and suggestions, patients trust him and his work.
When he is not in the office, Dr. Derick Gharibian likes to be active with his wife, two boys, and dogs. Their favorite activities include mountain biking, street biking, fishing, camping, and hiking. Dr. Derick is friendly, gentle, efficient and very professional. If you're one of those people who hates going to the dentist, Dr. Derick is the perfect doctor for you. Based on my experience, he explains the work to be done thoroughly and offers you options without performing unnecessary procedures.

After years of fearing the whole "going to dentist" concept and therefore earning my cavities, I was introduced to Dr. Gharibian. From minute I walked into the office I knew I was in the right place. It only took one visit for me to gain his trust and actully relax long enough to have necessary dental work. By far, he has the best numbing injection techniques for starting a procedure. He is meticulous and gentle throughout. I now have my dental visits without anxiety.

First time in Dr. Gharibians office went super smooth. The entire staff were very friendly and I was seen in no time. I went in for a cleaning saw the hygienist Elda she was very gentle with the scaling she also gave me some tips on how to better my brushing and flossing. Walked out of the office feeling fresh and clean with no pressure pushed upon me for unnecessary treatment. I give the office a 10 !!!
