Dr. Desiree Loreno has been practicing dentistry for over ten years. She received her Bachelors of Science Degree in Biology from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign. She then attended the University of Illinois at Chicago College of Dentistry and was awarded her Doctorate of Dental Surgery. Among her graduating class, she was honored with the American Academy of Periodontology Dental Student Award for Achievement in Periodontology.
Immediately after graduating, she began her private practice career in Chicago. During her days off, she volunteered at Goldie's Place providing free dental care for the homeless. Three years after graduation, Dr. Loreno returned to her alma mater as an Associate Clinical Professor. In addition to Gurnee Dental Arts, Dr. Loreno is the dental director of a community health center in Chicago's Pilsen neighborhood.

Any doctor that makes my child comfortable during an office visit gets my vote! This was the first visit for our family and we plan to continue coming back for our dental needs. I was impressed by the atmosphere, professionalism, and expertise of Dr. Loreno as well as her assistant.
