Besides the average wait you expect at a doctor, the service was excellent. Every staff member was knowledgeable and friendly. I very much enjoyed the visit even though I do not like to go to the dentist.

The office is great and the team is very friendly. I surprisingly got a complete tour of the office which is very quaint and charming. Dr Williams was warm and relatable as well her entire staff! The staff was very knowledgable and took time to explain the details of my visit, the process and results.

Educational Background and Post Graduate Studies:
“I feel that I went to one of the finest dental schools in the United States. However, education is a continuing process in order to maintain the highest standard of professionalism.”
Dr. Williams began her career in the field of dentistry in 1983 at Howard University as a Dental Hygienist. She graduated from Baltimore College Dental Surgery/University of Maryland (the first dental school in the world) in 1990. Throughout her dental school education, she received awards and recognition, including maintaining a 4.0 GPA during her initial year and an award for outstanding research in the Dental Clinical Science Research competition. She completed a fellowship in Holistic dentistry and is one of a very few general dentists who has achieved this accomplishment. Dr Williams is certified to use the only FDA approved laser for periodontal surgery. A specific procedure to regenerate the attachment of gum to the tooth for people with advanced gum disease with impending tooth loss. Only 150 dentists in the world have achieved this special status. She is passionate about improving the health status of people throughout the community and beyond.
Her education has not stopped there. Dr. Williams has taken over 100 continuing education courses in the past years. This reflects a commitment in bringing to her patients the latest techniques and to find better ways to serve the needs of her patients. She is passionate about improving the health status of people in the community.

We went to this dentist because it was right around the corner. I highly recommend going elsewhere. Each time we went we had to wait a long time. Also, my husband has great insurance and they charged him for services he never asked for without approving them ahead of time. Don't go here. It's a very unprofessional office.

The original appointment I scheduled through zocdoc was rescheduled by the office. I spoke on the phone with a receptionist and explained my needs (wanted a cleaning, hadn't been to the dentist in a while) and was rescheduled. When I came, I was told by the hygienist that they always do x-rays at the first visit and that if we run out of time we'll pick another time for the cleaning. Umm..why would we run out of time? I specifically scheduled the appointment as a new patient seeking a cleaning, shouldn't it be scheduled with enough time to do everything? Had the x-rays, met with the dentist, and was told I'd have to come back for a cleaning. They took me back out and told me I had to wait for the account person to go over pricing, etc. with me. She had to see two people before me, including someone who hadn't been there for an appointment and just walked in wanting to talk about her bill. When I finally met with her 20 minutes later, she told me my cleaning was covered by my insurance, and it became clear that I was waiting for her so she could sell me on invisalign. We then scheduled an appointment for my actual cleaning, which has to be two weeks out, will require me to miss more work, and is at a time that isn't even convenient for me.
All in all, the hygienist and dentist were both very nice, as was the staff. However, I have a problem with being scheduled for a cleaning without enough time to get to the actual cleaning part, and not being notified of that possibility at the time it was scheduled, and having to come back to get the care I was scheduled for. I also have a problem with being forced to spend another 30 minutes after my appointment ended to talk about something I didn't even come there for.

My visit was with Dr. Melnik and she was awesome! I waited almost 30 min. Which is always annoying but in this case it was worth the wait. My cavity was deep and she worked very carefully to save me from a root canal which I am very thankful! I felt very at ease and cared for the whole time... I know who I will be seeing for my last 2 fillings!

Dr Williams was great and I thought I had found a new dentist. But now I will NOT be returning to her office anytime soon. At the last minute I had to cancel an appointment and learned that I would be charged a large cancelation fee. I was blindsided by this fee because it was not listed in any of the numerous email reminders I received. I was then told that someone should have informed me when they gave me my treatment plan, but the computers were down the day of my visit so my treatment plan was only emailed to me never discussed.When I tried to discuss my concerns with her staff I was met with short rude responses and "accidental" call drops.

After having x-rays taken, the wait for the doctor (15 minutes maybe) was a little long compared to what I'm used to, but this was of little importance as I had a good comedy routine and scenes from Seinfeld playing in my room to pass the time away with several good laughs. Aside from this, the staff is all really nice and warm. I am not the type to dread dental visits, but after my last cleaning at another office, I was scared what might happen here. Coby (sp?) cleaned my teeth at Morningside Dental and I couldn't have been more comfortable. I am 100% confident I'm in good hands here. Looking forward to my next visit.

Dr. Williams and her team were just fantastic. Kaitlan and Jonathan were a dream. Both Dr. Williams and Kaitlan were very patient and explained everything very clearly. They were on time for my appointment and the office was very clean with state of the art dental equipment. Most of all, a pain free zone. I will be seeing them for all of my future dental needs.

Had never been to this practice before, had some free time and hadn't been to the dentist in years and decided it was finally time to see one. Everyone in the office was very welcoming, they greeted me as soon as I walked in and answered all of my pre-exam questions in a way that made me feel confident. Dr. Williams made what is for me what is normally a very uncomfortable experience actually enjoyable. After x-rays and looking over my dental health I was explained everything that was found, what my options were and what their recommendations would be. I will returning here for all of my future dental work and would definitely recommend them to others.
