Excellent service. I have been going to dentists my entire adult life. This is the first time that the Hygienist offered helpful advice on how to prevent some of the issues I was having.

Dr. Doreen Wascow was raised in the suburbs of Chicago. She attended Loyola University of Chicago for undergraduate studies in biology. She went on to pursue a career in dentistry at the University of Illinois dental school, and graduated in 1988. Since 1988 she has been practicing dentistry at the same office in Mundelein. In addition to general dentistry, she enjoys spending time in Vernon Hills with her husband and two children.

Dr. Wascow was excellent but her secretaries were so bad that I'm never going back. They kept asking me for my fathers S.S number. I gave them his phone number and the best time to reach him. They continued to call me instead. They called me for weeks. I have never had a doctor ask me for my parents social security number. They were also very unfriendly and unprofessional when I walked into the office.

So far so good. Doreen and her assistant Kim were very nice. They have calm, friendly voices. Doreen answered questions I had very thoroughly with out condescension. I liked that she had sunglasses available so the dental lights would not shine in your eyes. She also suggested that if I didn't like the noise of the tools I could could bring in a listening device and listen to music. Kim asked how I was feeling during the procedure and made pleasant small talk. Doreen had suggestions for a few minor issues I had with my teeth and asked if I'd like to take care of them. The ladies at the front desk were nice. I heard them gossiping a little but they were nice to me. = )
All in all it was a pleasant experience. I will have some old fillings taken care of next week so we will see how I do then. ; )
