My family and I have been going to Dr. Maggio's office for many years. The office is so well run. Everyone there is warm and caring, from when you are greeted at reception to having your routine cleanings.
Dr. Maggio has a gentle touch. He is very aware of how you are feeling during treatment, his work is excellent and you know you are in good hands. He is always accommodating in the event of an emergency. We have 100% confidence in Dr. Maggio, Maggie and everyone there.

Whether you need routine dental care or cosmetic dental work, Dr. Maggio's professionalism and artistry will truly make you smile. Personally, I have been treated by him for close to 30 years; his work is consistently SUPERIOR to that of other dentists. In my opinion, Dr. Maggio is the MICHELANGELO of DENTRISTY! I wish there was a world where all of the doctors and staff were like Dr. Maggio and his staff. It is a pleasure to see him - who ever says that about going to the dentist?! Every person there is friendly, thoughtful and helpful. You feel like you are with family. They care about you and take pride in their work. I feel really lucky to be a patient there.

My experience with Dr. Maggio and his staff are always pleasant, particularly with the doctor, one of his hygienists, Maggie, and his office assistant, Heather. I first started with Dr. Maggio I believe more than 25 years ago when I lived a mile or two from his office. I moved 15 years ago to a village in Westchester County, NY. It can take me anywhere from 45 minutes to 2 hours to reach him, depending on traffic and the Whitestone or Throggs Neck Bridges. In my mind, he is worth the trip. My friends ask me why I still go to Queens to receive his service. I tell them, that I never feel any pain with his procedures and his "chair style"
is friendly, warm, and informative as he shares each step he is doing.

Dr. Maggio was highly recommended to me, so I went for an initial consultation regarding major work I needed done. He was very informative and gave me options unlike other dentists. He is an excellent listener and answered all my questions abut the work he would be doing in advance of my appointments. I would say the philosophy of the practice is mindful, empathetic and thoughtful towards patients. They understand your needs and make you as comfortable as possible so you have the best experience during your appointment from the minute you walk in the door to when you leave. Both Dr. Maggio and his technicians are very gentle while they are working on you. They make sure you are okay along the way! I am extremely pleased with the outcome of the extensive work I needed done, which has been life changing. If you need a new and gentle dentist, make an appointment. You will be glad you did.

Today was visit 2 and part 2 of my root canal. Dr. Maggio explains what he will be doing, checks to assure you are still comfortable and works quickly and efficiently. His staff are all friendly and professional. I've found my new dentist!
I booked my 1st appointment with Dr. Maggio through Zocdoc for the next afternoon and included a detailed reason for my visit. I received a call the next am asking me to move my appointment to a later time that day to assure Dr. Maggio would have sufficient time. What a gracious introduction to Dr. Maggio's practice.

Dr. Maggio and his staff are amazing! Even though I was a new patient, they treated me like I had been going to their office for years. Heather at the front desk was awesome! She got me in and out of the office on a Saturday in little over an hour. If you live in Whitestone, Dr. Maggio should be your dentist!
