I have been practicing family and cosmetic dentistry in Tamarac, Florida, a suburb of Fort Lauderdale for the past 36 years. Living in the surrounding community of Coral Springs, I met my future wife Beth in 1993 and we married three years later. When my growing Tamarac dental practice needed a new, and dynamic personality to run the front desk, I immediately asked Beth if she would leave her existing job and join me. Beth is presently the office manager and receptionist for our family Tamarac dental practice. We share three children—Adam, Bryan and Jacqueline.
I received a Bachelor of Arts degree from George Washington University and my degree in Doctor of Dental Surgery from Howard University College of Dentistry. Since opening my Tamarac dental office I have maintained active membership in the American Dental Association, the Florida Dental Association and the Broward County Dental Association and given to those less fortunate by my participation in the Broward County Dental Research Clinic.
As a dental professional I value integrity, competency, and friendship. Relationship development allows me to express a sincere caring about the well being of each patient. My practice has grown from individuals to a home of multi-generation families and friends. I recognize that my patients are unique individuals who have placed a great deal of trust in me and my team and that is just one of the reasons why I value each and every relationship.
My post graduate education includes 2 years in the United States Public Health Service where I received training in oral surgery and family and cosmetic dentistry. With over 1000 hours of continuing education credits I continue to expand my professional knowledge and keep up with the latest advances in dentistry.
