At Kaufman Children’s Dental Hospital we are concerned about your child's total health care. Good oral health is an important part of your child's total health.
Establishing us as your child's dental home provides us opportunity to implement preventive dental health habits that keep a child free from dental and oral disease. We focus on prevention, early detection and treatment of dental diseases, and keep current on the latest advances in dentistry for children.
Our facilities are designed to help children feel safe and comfortable. Our staff enjoys working with kids. We are fully aware of the fears and anxieties associated with dentistry and strive towards alleviating them through empathy, patience and our own distinct way of providing pediatric dental care.

the wait is always long in this very small office. u would think by the time u get called, u'd be seen but its not always true.. u would hafto wait again, but in the smaller room. the dentist is really nice and knows his stuff but the wait is just too long.

This is a great office! Dr. Kaufman and his staff are caring and gentle with the kids. The waiting room was well equipped with toys, games and big TV playing cartoons. Not only did my daughter feel comfortable but Dr. Kaufman made me - a nervous first time mom - feel comfortable as well. GREAT first visit! Very pleased :)

Dr. Kaufman is the ultimate professional. I was very impressed with his credentials before trusting him with my daughters. More important to me, however, was that his mannerism with children is amazing. My daughters liked him right away, he made them feel comfortable and unafraid. We've been going to him now for three years, and my daughters actually look forward to their dental check ups. My oldest daughter had several fillings done with him, but still, she's not even afraid of the needle anymore. I was stunned at first when the doctor actually showed her the needle he was going to place in her mouth. I soon learned that because of that, my daughter is no longer afraid of the needle! I wish my dentist did that to me, maybe I wouldn't be afraid to go myself.
I highly recommend this office and this dentist. The office is beautiful and clean, and the staff is super nice and helpful.

My child has seen many dentists in the past, and she was always terrified to go. Today, when I took her immediately she felt comfortable because of its kid friendly atmosphere. The office is colorful with toys in the waiting room and tvs right above the chair! The office staff was very friendly and the assistant and hygenist were great at comforting my child. Dr. Kaufman was exteremely friendly and down to earth. The exam was very thorough, and he noticed things that dentist in the past haven't. I highly recommend him.

Dr. Kaufman was gentle, calm, kind and patient with my baby daughter, who had her first dental appointment (and, it turns out, hates dental appointments with a passion). He had plenty of great suggestions for maintaining her dental hygiene. I would definitely bring her to him again!

Have only good things to say about the experience from start to finish. My girl was in great hands. As a parent, I was given wonderful explanations, and I felt like being a satisfied customer mattered. In the end of the treatment Sophie got a balloon and she wants to go back to the dentist again. Can you imagine?! Glad to have come to Dr. Kaufman.

My daughter is extremely afraid the dentist and Dr.Kaufman explained everything to her and myself thoroughly his staff was very friendly...it's a small space so be ready to hear about the other lil kiddies dental problems....otherwise I liked him and looking or ward to my next appt

My child was very scared to go to the dentist. I took her to three other dentists (one of them a pediatric dentist), none of them were able to do anything with her. Once we met the doctor, he was very nice, and my daughter felt much safer with him after a few minute conversation about what she needs to get done. She actually cooperated for the x-rays, let them do a cleaning, and has already asked me when we are returning to see the nice doctor. The place itself is beautiful and clean, which is super important to me. The staff was also accomodating, nice, and looked like they like working there. Most importantly, my daughter likes the dentist. Highly recommended!

Office is not as clean and bright as in the pictures (it was lighter outside), unsanitary plastic over the chairs instead of disposable paper, doc doesn't look the same in person, not as friendly and welcoming as we had hoped. Kids were not thrilled and complained of pain during cleaning.

We had a very pleasant trip to Dr. Kaufman's office. The staff is nice, friendly and kind. The decorating in the office is the best I've ever seen - Dr. Kaufman and his staff have great taste, and my kids were having so much fun, they didn't want to leave. I am still hearing about the cartoon videos on the cieling. How neat! Thanks to the office for treating us so well. We will be back soon for our next cleaning.

Dr. Kaufman was very friendly and gave a great explanation about what the options with a chipped tooth for a 2-year old are. My toddler cried a bit during the visit, which was expected, and Dr. Kaufman was ready with a helium balloon for her at the end of the visit. This made her day and sent her home with a smile.

Dr Kaufman was very professional and authentic and had a very instinctive and intelligent way of handling the children. He genuinely cares and my son who was frankly 'terrified' was soon made to feel at home and part of the team effort to take care of his teeth. Dr Kaufman also took the time to carefully explain proceedures to me and what developments to look out for in the future. I would highly recommend him to any prospective parent (or child!).

We recently moved to NY with our 3 year old daughter. I have been hunting for a pediatric dentist in the area for a couple of months, and was lucky enough to find Dr. Kaufman. He is truly the best with children. Dr. Kaufman and his staff made Jenna feel extremely relaxed and encouraged her throughout the whole procedure. I would like to say thank you for all your time and the outcome of your services at KCDH.

Amazing. Although our visit was relatively short, Dr. Kaufman was very calm and got through our whole visit tear free. After our visit, my son recieved a balloon and a little truck. And instead of our 6 mth follow-up, Dr Kaufman is seeing us in 3 mths to catch my sons developing cavities before they turn into something bad. I really appreciate it! I would highly recommend him. The only complaint i have, is the photos on the official website make the office seem a lot larger than it is, but its still a cute little office. :) 5 stars all the way
