Great dentist. Answered all of my questions. Very informative and professional.
Dr Folickman is a great dentist on the UWS! Ask him about his travels and photography.
Dr. Folickman is very polite and professional. Explains everything in detail if you ask. Good guy.
Dr Folickman was fantastic. Kind, smart, and quick. Would strongly recommend.
I've been going to Dr frolickman for about 6 years and he has always been great! Staff is nice also!
I was so relieved to be able to book online as it was an emergency and I was seen right away. Dr. Folickman is very thorough.
Good dentist and a nice guy. Really liked him
The office staff was efficient. Dr. Folickman was very professional and informative and made me feel at ease. So far, am pleased I discovered a gem.
business like. explained everything well. a little rough when drilling. Office staff could use some training.
Dr. Folickman was friendly, compassionate and professional. Looking forward to my next checkup! (Well, mostly -- but Dr. F is great!)
He's the best!
Great Doctor, takes the time to listen, asks the right questions. Prompt service and easy to book with. Also very gentle with people who freak out about dental work like me.
I went to Dr. Folickman for a cleaning and apparently my insurance plan was such that I did not have to pay for my cleaning and insurance would not pay him for the cleaning.. so, Dr. Folickman spent about 10 minutes cleaning my teeth (literally just scraped my teeth and brushed them) and then called it a day. I had to ask him for fluoride and also wondered aloud why he didn't floss my teeth? Yes, he was friendly and we had a nice conversation about his travels, but given he wasn't getting paid for this... it was apparent he could careless about performing a quality dental cleaning.
Very friendly and easy going. Perfect for me as I am terrified of dentists.
Great dentist and nice guy!
Such a nice, comforting dentist! Will recommend him to everyone!
5 starà for staff and waiting time. 3 for the facilities, it could use some renovation!
Terrific dentist. Patient and explained everything.
Very nice and good at explaining everything. I am planning to go back again!
I thought the appointment was rushed and was unsatisfied with the results.
It was fine. Really fast which was nice. But seemed a little less thorough than most dentists.
Very nice and clearly explained what my insurance policy covered which I liked. They did try to sell me on a couple procedures I do not think are necessary, but other than that, a pleasant visit.
Dr. Folickman was great. He provided great, balanced advice about some elective procedures I was interested in - giving both the positives and the negatives I might encounter. You can clearly see he knows his stuff, is very low pressure, and has a great bedside manner.
Dr. Folickman is a GREAT dentist. My whole family goes to him. He is always honest and does not recommend unnecessary procedures. His staff is also wonderful. They are always accommodating and good about paper work. No one in my family has ever had a billing issue with Dr. Folickman!
The staff is very welcoming! I loved all his photos from his travels. He was personable, honest, and upfront about pricing. Today was my first dental visit in 6 years and he was very kind about my lack of dental hygiene(flossing, etc.). Can't wait for my next cleaning, haha
Dr. Folickman was great. The only issue I had is that they had me re-fill the patient information form, even thought I had filled it out online.
He chose not to complete my cleaning before leaving for another (more lucrative) set of patients. Tried to force fillings on me when I had received the same set 6 months prior. I guess everyone has to pay rent.
Truly awful experience. Stay away at all costs. Worse than a used car salesman
Dr.Folickman was honest and an all around good guy. He wasn't at all pushy or trying to sell me treatments I didn't need. He had a very sincere way of telling me what I could improve and he gave me some great suggestions. Finally I found a great dentist in NYC!
Dr. Folickman was a breath of fresh air as a Dr. in NYC. He was so kind and honest and was not the pushy salesman type. I have been to numerous dentists in NYC and always felt they were trying to sell me something. He is not an alarmist and only suggests treatments if they are truly necessary. He also highlights all of your insurance coverage, so you know what to expect in your bill. His office is a quarky throwback which I actually found to be endearing. I will definitely go back to Dr.Folickman as my regular dentist.
I was very impressed with Dr. Folickman. Very professional, very competent. And a very interesting person as well!
It was a very disappointing to come in for a cleaning and get a few scrapes with some tool and call it and charge me for cleaning. Never again!
I have a slight aversion to dentists, and yet I was very comfortable in his office. My severe lapse in visits resulted in a little bit of pain during the cleaning, but nothing major. He doesn't make you feel ashamed if you have neglected care, but he does give you suggestions on how to improve your oral health.
Dr. Folickman was great - quick, thorough, and made me feel very comfortable. He was also not the salesman-type of dentist (the last one I went to felt like he was trying to sell me all types of procedures that I didn't need). Dr. Folickman was honest and kind. The office isn't very fancy (a few cracks in the walls and minor things), but it didn't matter much considering the overall visit was so pleasant.
Cleaning was more painful than any I have ever had.
Nice guy. Explained what he was doing and why he recommended certain things. No upselling. Good overall experience. Teeth cleaning was a little more rough/painful than my old dentist. Office was old/dingy. Will probably return.
Professional, knowledgeable, and attentive.
Dr. Folickman went over and beyond to handle my dental emergency. He is always professional and has provided with excellent dental care.
Not sure if I've never had a "good" dentist, but I honestly have never been in so much pain or bled as much as I did in this cleaning session. I had no cavities or anything requiring additional action (read: healthy teeth) and yet I feel like I was manhandled in the ongoing fight against plaque. Maybe it's just the "old fashioned" approach?
very nice and the appt went much less painlessly than other dentist appt's i've had. even when i had the wrong insurance card with me, he was very nice about it and did the procedure anyway, and his office would call the insurance company on Monday to sort it out.
Professional, informative, friendly, and knowledgeable. I'm glad to have found him.
I like that doctor Foluckman does the cleaning too! Once I was called back he was very professional and nicely talkative. The office itself is a little bit outdated but he makes up for it in professionalism and demeanor. I would certainly recommend this dentist to others!
I am terrified of dentists and previously have only been able to have "twilight dentistry" with heavy sedation. But today, I had a pain free root canal while wide awake, and without the overly numb face afterward. Gentle touch. Excellent dentist! No jitters for my next visit.
very nice, explain you the procedure and give a quote before. I'm foreigner and was a little bit scared of going to a dentist in NY, but I guess I picked the right one!
He's great! Has neat photos of his various trips, seems genuinely interested in the patient, and recognizes that cost of procedures present possible issues for patients, and is sensitive to it by asking patients whether they're familiar with their insurance coverage and if they're okay with taking on other procedures that cost "extra."
