I know the dentist can be a stressful place, but Elizabeth Nguyen and the staff were excellent. Their office is a welcoming place, they did everything to make sure I was comfortable, making me laugh. It was a great experience! I recommend them highly!

My experience at this office was amazing! The doctor and her assistants are gentle and patient. Most of all, they listened to my needs and were able to empathize with me. I needed to get a lot of work done, but the doctor was always patient and kind. Also, very professional and they did exceptional work.

Dr. Nguyen started Redwood City Smile Dental in June 2013. She received Doctor of Dental Surgery degree (DDS) at the University of Southern California in 2003. Dr. Nguyen then went to Augusta, Georgia where she completed an additional year of internship, to enhance her periodontal surgery and implant skills. Dr. Nguyen then moved back to the Bay Area, where she has been practicing dentistry since.
Dr Nguyen grew up in San Francisco, and currently lives in Burlingame. She enjoys traveling, music, and running on her favorite trail every morning.
Dr Nguyen is a member of the Santa Clara Dental Society, American Dental Association, and California Dental Association. She attends continuing education courses and seminars to stay on top of all the new developments and techniques in dentistry.

I have mixed feelings after my appointment. The staff is really friendly, the office is clean.
I felt like I was suggested more treatment than I actually needed. I came with the broken filling and I had to ask specifically to fix it same day couple times.
There were also 2 patients in parallel, I had to wait for doctor to switch between us.

Dr. Nguyen and staff were very courteous and answered all of my questions. However, I walked away with the impression that she had recommended more procedures than were required. This may be a matter of being more "proactive" vs. "conservative" with treatment plans. I felt my plan was aggressive.

After sustaining an injury to the mouth during a martial arts class, I was in a bit of a panic. Luckily, Dr. Nguyen was able to see me the same day I was looking for an appointment.
Her receptionist was quick to respond, and took the time to call my insurance carrier in order to answer all my coverage questions.
Dr. Nguyen herself conducted a quick, but thorough exam and put me at ease with her thoughtful bedside manner.

Everything was great! They did make me fill out the paperwork again, but beyond that no complaints. They figured out my insurance, and scheduled me for a follow up cleaning. Dr. Nguyen even fixed a chipped tooth that I've been ignoring for awhile. Overall great experience. Recommend.

Dr. Nguyen is just a great dentist overall. Beyond the fact that she is highly professional and always made me feel comfortable, even when things might have been a little painful, she always made great conversation and I almost always left smiling and laughing. I highly recommend her although I hope her office doesn't become super busy to the point that I can't go back!

I know nothing about insurance but they make sure I fully understand my benefits. Dr. Nguyen is all for saving teeth and I'm glad I found them 2 years ago! I was taught the impact that a good oral health has on our overall health.

Super friendly staff and the doc is amazing. She went all over my treatment plan with details about why I need it. I never been told by a dentist how important for my health is to have a healthy teeth and gums.

I was put in the chair pretty promptly and they began with my cleaning right on time. Everything was nice and clean and ready for my appointment. They kept making sure I was ok during the cleaning which made me feel more comfortable so I wouldn't be in any pain. They always ask before beginning any treatment if I've had pain or discomfort.
