After 22 years of practicing dentistry, I still love to come to work every day. As a dentist in Bala Cynwyd, Main Line area every day is an opportunity to take care of people who need help with their teeth and gums. The best part of my job is making people comfortable. Handling people's anxieties and questions about dentistry is what we do. We educate and explain and have the expertise in making dentistry pain free. Our office is a very warm and friendly place to work in and be a patient. Our staff enjoys each other and our patients and they are dedicated to providing the best care and being of service to you.
On a personal note, I enjoy painting and producing artwork in my spare time. I use these skills to create beautiful smiles in my cosmetic dentistry practice. I also love integrating technology into our office. I take plenty of continuing dental education and have kept up with all the advancements in dentistry. We have digital X-rays, laptop computers, and educational and display software to illustrate dental concepts and services. We perform advanced endontics and have been treating patients with Invisalign orthodontics. I have numerous publications in dental literature and magazines and hold a few patents in dental applications. My wife is an accomplished practicing dentist as well, Dr. Hope Berman, with whom I share a love of dentistry.

I really love Dr Spieler professionalism and he does a great job. I am not one for going to any dentist but I will be following through with my whole treatment plan. I recommend him to five people the day after my first visit. That whole staff make you feel welcome as soon as you walk in the door.

There was a dental emergency that was taken in to be seen right before my appt time. Unfortunately no one updated me regarding this emergency so I was left waiting over an hour to be seen. This was after the office made a point to call me earlier in the day to come in an hour early. Needless to say I was peeved. That being said, at my next appt I was promptly seen and taken care of.

The cleaning was bad, they did not polish after finish cleaning. I had a filling and I am having pain when I eat. The doctor suggested to replace old fillings with no reason.

Great staff @ front desk, everyone is literally in a good mood and professional. Dr. Spieler was great in creating the perfect plan of care for my periodontal disease. Oral hygienists was super sweet too. I've been recommending alot of ppl there. I only wish they took Dental plans with HMO

The office was very clean and welcoming. The man who welcomed me at the front desk was friendly and helpful. I got there 10 minutes early (filled out my new patient forms prior which I'd suggest) and was taken right at my appt time. The assistant was also very personable. After xrays I met Dr. Spieler and he really seemed to know what he was doing. He walked me through xrays and described the treatment in plan in detail and understandable form. Overall a very good experience. I would highly recommend him

Staff and dentist provided excellent service. State of the art facility and equipment. Really great ambiance. Wait was a little too long - my appt was at 845 did not get into the chair until 945a and seen by the dentist til around 10am.

Dr. Spieler was a fine dentist, however his office staff and scheduling systems leave something to be desired. I made an appointment in October for the beginning of December and received a phone call three days before my appointment telling me they needed to reschedule. When I called to reschedule the appointment the next available one they had to offer me was for March, three months later. This is unacceptable in my opinion, and I will be switching dentists.
