In 1992, Dr. Hekkert earned an MBA from Rice University, in Houston, Texas. After pursuing a career in sales and marketing for a biotech company, he made a career change and pursued his true calling – dentistry. Dr. Hekkert graduated from Baylor College of Dentistry in 2001, and shortly thereafter moved to Colorado.
He has practiced in Colorado for 10 years now, and is very excited to have found his home at Castle Rock Cosmetic and Family Dentistry. Dr. Hekkert is passionate about bringing you a team dedicated to your health, comfort and looks. “I am dedicated to providing you information that is customized for you and specifically designed to help you keep your teeth for life. I have a team in place that is ready to provide you with the care you choose, at a time you choose. Please let us know your goals, so we may help you achieve them.”
Outside of the practice, Dr. Hekkert can be found along the foothills proudly supporting his children as they pursue competitive soccer, softball and baseball. I have always thought highly of the dentists I've seen, and Dr. Hekkert is no exception. He and his staff are personable and professional. Office is clean and inviting. Dr. Hekkert spent a lot of time with me reviewing my history and explaining my options. I'd rank him in the top of all dentists.
