Dr. Huang holds a degree in Biomedical Engineering from Johns Hopkins University and a Doctor of Dental Surgery (D.D.S.) from New York University. He received post-graduate training in all aspects of dentistry while completing his General Practice Residency at John Hopkins University. In school, Dr. Huang earned many distinctions, including the Dean’s Research Award and Stipend, the Dean’s Award for Clinical Excellence, and publications in the Journal of Virology.
As part of his quest to provide state-of-the-art dental care, Dr. Huang maintains membership with the American Dental Association, the Maryland State Dental Association, the Greater Catonsville Dental Study Club, and the Greater Baltimore Medical Center OMFS Study Club. He is also holds a faculty position at the Johns Hopkins University Hospital Department of Dentistry. His most recent focus includes adult and pediatric restorative dentistry, crown and bridgework, removable dentures, implant-retained dentures, oral surgery, endodontics, implant restorations, conservative TMJ treatment, and oral pathology and oral cancer screenings.
As co-owner of Southgate Dental Care, Dr. Huang strives to provide every patient with quality dental care. He treats patients of all ages with different needs, taking into account their medical and dental history to ensure safe, effective results.
Dr. Huang grew up in Summit, New Jersey with his mother (an accountant), his father (an engineer), and his sister (a pharmacist). He is married and enjoys snowboarding with his wife, as

Dr Huang is very professional, kind and easy to talk too. He has always made me feel relaxed and comfortable, and I hate dental work... so thats saying something. I have never had a procedure done that I was unhappy with. Thank you Dr Huang for making an unpleasent experience (such as dental work) so easy and comfortable.
