More about Dr. Eugene Porcelli, DDS
Dr. Porcelli received a Bachelor of Arts in Biology cum laude from Hofstra University and his dental degree from Georgetown University School of Dentistry, graduating in 1983. Having been born and raised on Long Island, he immediately returned and entered private practice.
From 1984-1995 Dr. Porcelli was a member of the Dental Department at Hempstead General Hospital. He currently serves on the Board of Directors for the Nassau County Dental Society as well as serving on the Professional Liability Committee and the Council of Ethics. In addition, he was Chairman of the Continuing Education Committee and a regular contributor to the Dental Society Bulletin. In 2011 Dr. Porcelli was elected President of the Nassau County Dental Society. Also in 2011 he received an award as one of the “Top Dentists” in the New York area from TopDoc New York. Besides being a member of the American Dental Association, the New York State Dental Society and the Nassau County Dental Society, he has also been a member of the Academy of General Dentistry and the American Association for Functional Orthodontics.
Dr. Porcelli realizes that few people look forward to going to the dentist so he makes the experience as comfortable and as pain-free as possible and delivers that care in a calm and soothing environment. Even more unique, his office walls are adorned by artwork he has painted himself. He attends numerous seminars and lectures to keep abreast of the most current techniques and materials available and offers his patients a wide range of dental services, from routine cleanings to full mouth reconstruction and complete cosmetic makeovers.
