Dr. Evans was phenomenal, I came in for a filling and he took his time and was very gentle. I would recommend him to all my coworkers in the midtown area looking for a dentist.

Dr. Evan Matthysse grew up in Pittsburgh, PA but has called New York City home for the past 10 years. He earned his Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) degree from New York University College of Dentistry. During his time at NYU, he was awarded honors in Periodontics and was elected by his peers as Class Speaker for Graduation at Madison Square Garden. After graduation, he completed a General Practice Residency in all aspects of dentistry at Montefiore Medical Center in the Bronx, NY. Dr. Matthysse has volunteered for multiple international dental outreach programs to under-served populations like Mexico and rural Maine. He believes the gateway to the body is the mouth and a healthy body begins with a healthy smile.
Dr. Matthysse is passionate about his work and continues to stay up-to-date in modern dentistry and has completed additional years of training in Implantology at NYU. He is a member of the American Dental Association, Academy of General Dentistry and International Congress of Oral Implantologists. He lives in Hoboken, NJ with his fiancé and enjoys spending time with his family.
