Hello everyone! I'm Dr. Farkhanda Tirmizi. At Ashar Dentistry, our vision goes beyond just dentistry; it's about creating a community-a place where dental care is synonymous with genuine commitment, where each of you isn't just a patient but part of our family. But who am I, you might wonder? My journey in the world of dentistry began at Khyber College of Dentistry in Pakistan, where I earned my Bachelor of Dental Surgery (BDS), and blossomed at New York University College of Dentistry here in the U.S., where I earned my Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS). After arriving in the United States, I completed a Post Graduate Residency in Comprehensive Dentistry for International Dentists at NYU College of Dentistry. I've sought extensive training in diverse areas-from implant communications to surgical extractions-to provide nothing but the best for our community. I'm deeply passionate about a holistic approach, using the most natural and conservative methods that emphasize overall health & well-being.

My achievements and recognitions clearly demonstrate my passion and devotion to breaking down barriers through community service & improving the oral health of children & adults.
Outreach Surgical Implant for underprivileged populations-I have successfully placed 20 implants with comprehensive treatment planning, applying advanced surgical techniques including bone grafting and PRP.
Outreach Pediatric Van Program-I was selected to provide dental services for underprivileged children across New York boroughs.

They heard me out and did their best not only with my experience with them, but also financially. Really good people there and are very passionate with their work. I recently had an exceptional experience with Dr. Farkhanda Tirmizi and her team at Ashar Dentistry. I was referred by my primary dentist, who was out of town, and I was in excruciating tooth pain. Despite it being a Saturday morning, they saw me first thing and immediately worked to alleviate my pain. The staff was incredibly warm and welcoming from the moment I walked in.
