Not being a fan of dentists in general (who is?), it's so great to find an office full of dental professionals who are personable and make the experience pretty much pain-free - clearly explaining procedures and conditions human to human. And the office itself is a warm environment - a nice change from the scary clinical rooms some of us grew up dreading!

I needed Urgent Emergency Care and I was able to make a same day appt. via ZocDoc w. Pasadena Smiles. I saw Dr. Spero and he was great - knowledgeable, professional and personable. I am currently visiting Pasadena and was very pleased to find such good dental care. I would recommend Pasadena Smiles
to anyone traveling through or living in Pasadena.

Dr. Farrah Koutchek, has always had a passion for learning and was valedictorian during undergraduate school and graduated with a Doctorate of Dental Surgery in 1995. Throughout her career she has completed countless hours of continuing education and constantly seeks new opportunities to enhance her abilities, knowledge and techniques. Dr Koutchek has a wide range of experience in different aspects of dentistry. From cosmetic and restorative dentistry to root canals and oral surgery as well as invisalign. Her approach to treatment starts with listening carefully to the patient, completing a thorough examination, using the new state-of-the-art digital X-rays (which admits 90% less radiation) which enables her to diagnosis and prescribe the best treatment plan for you and your family.

I had to wait for over an hour to see the dentist. She spent less than 10 minutes on me, which is fine since I didn't have any issues. The dental hygienist was horrible. She looked like she was afraid of teeth. At one point she was polishing the roof of my mouth. I don't think she realized it.

Dr. Spero is great. He put my fears at ease and explain to me what is going to happen. I have not been to a dentist in over 20 years. I had a bad experience as a child and never went back. He seem very honest in his answers and gave his honest opinion when I ask.

The office was very clean and the people at the desk were very professional. I was greeted immediately, and was very impressed that the doctor went out of his way to introduce himself to my husband who was in waiting room. My experience was great, I would definitely recomend the dentist. The Staff was very professional and they gave me a variety of options to choose from.
