Dr. Hu was born and grew up in Liouzhou,Guangxi, P.R. of China. She earned her first dental degree at Sun Yat-Sen University of Medical sciences in 1990. She came to the United States to attend the University of Florida where she earned her masters degree in Oral Biology with a focus on Sjogren's Syndrom. She attended the University of Pennsylvania where she received her second D.M.D. (Doctor of Medical Dentistry) degree in 1997. She has been a private practitioner focus on general and major reconstructive dentistry since then in Winter Park. Dr. Hu is a member of the American Dental Association, The Florida Dental Association, and the Greater Orlando Dental Association. She is an active participant in the local chapters of the Seattle Study Club,the Mid-Florida Implant Study Club and CEREC Digital Technology Study Club. Dr. Hu is an alumina of Dawson Professional Center, Pankey Institute and Frank Spear Educational Foundation. Dr. Hu has been voted as Greater Orlando Top Dentist by her peers for 7 consecutive years since 2007. She is also serving as a dental examiner of FL Dental License Board. She is supporting doctor of National Sjogren's Foundation. Recently, she was appointed as an admission interview committee member of U. of Pennsylvania.
