Coming from Romania as a young child, my family and I had to start from nothing. Medical treatment was a luxury for us especially dental, which was something I saw my parents struggle with for as long as I can remember. I would have to say that seeing this need in my own family influenced me the most in my decision to become a dentist. It was a problem to which I wanted to be a part of the solution, to show compassion to those who were less fortunate. And it's not just about relieving pain but about giving people the opportunity to succeed in life and not be held back by their dental problems. I've been blessed with the opportunity to work in south Florida after growing up in Ohio. I see the same need for compassion, and potential for success here in Florida as I did in Ohio, as I did in Romania while on a dental mission. I frequently visit my family in Ohio and Romania but I enjoy returning to the beautiful state of Florida which I now call home.
Activities I enjoy doing include soccer and beach volleyball. I love discovering new restaurants, buying fresh vegetables at the local markets, and just hanging out with friends at the many car shows. I am also an active member at First Baptist Church of Naples.
