Dr. Fred A. Puccio, the Principal of Midland Family Dental Care, PA, started practicing in 1994. His expertise lies in all areas of dentistry, such as cosmetic, prosthetic, general, CEREC, and implant dentistry. Dr. Puccio graduated from New York University College Of Dentistry. He completed his post-doctoral specialized training at East Orange VA Medical Center, where he received numerous commendations from the Office of the Chief of Staff.
He is a Clinical Instructor at New York University College of Dentistry in the Honors restorative clinic. He also holds a teaching position at Hackensack University Medical Center in the Dental Department, where he received an award of “Teaching Attending of the Year.” Among his many other accomplishments, he has been rewarded “America’s Top Dentists” by the Consumer’s Research Council of America. Dr. Puccio is regarded as a highly skilled practitioner, with an incredible chair side manner. He is a member of the American Dental Association, New Jersey Dental Association, The Bergen County Dental Society, and The Bergen County Implant Study Group.
With 18 years of dental implant experience, Dr. Puccio is hands on in all aspects of implant dentistry, including the placement of single and multi-implant surgeries, uncovering and preparing implants for final restorations, as well as fabricating the permanent crowns often using CEREC technology. From a single missing tooth to full mouth reconstruction, patients looking to restore their original smile are provided with an expert implant dentistry experience by one of the finest of dentists, Dr Fred. Puccio.
Above and beyond patient care, Dr. Puccio is a certified CEREC advanced trainer and a graduate from Sirona’s Speakers Academy. He provides other dentists and their staff with the proper knowledge to expand their practices utilizing CEREC technology with group lectures and one-on-one lectures in conjunction with hands on training.

Everyone in the office is so accommodating and polite. Dr. Puccio is professional and personal. My family & I just moved from the west coast where we had the same family dentist for the last 20 years. We were worried about finding another dentist that would be as friendly and take care of our needs as well as our previous dentist. Fred is the best dentist I have had in 50 years! I've been thru tramatic dental trama many years ago. Dr Puccio has made these long standing issues seem like a a filling. I had a series of complicated procedures for a dental implant.
Everything was thoroughly explained before hand. The procedures themselves were done with a minimum of pain or discomfort. Drilling into the jaw was without pain despite the fact the tooth was in the back of my mouth and Dr. Puccio had limited room to work. All-in-all a good experience.

After that, I began treating there regularly & Dr. Puccio has helped me restore all my teeth after years of neglect. His meticulous & aesthetic approach during even routine work such as fillings truly shines through & has yielded me amazing results. There is no better moment than when you know you have selected the right healthcare professional. That was my experience today. Dr Puccio and his staff gave my daughter excellent care and actually confirmed that one step of a procedure was not necessary that other doctors said would have to be performed. Using medical equipment that I have never seen used before, he cut off a big expense that absolutely wasn't necessary. Thanks the staff at Midland Family Dental.

I have advanced periodontal disease and Dr. Puccio was able to treat my condition using a high tech laser. It was completely painless and I was able to avoid invasive surgery. I have read many articles about him on the internet and decided to travel to NJ to meet with him. One of the best decisions I have ever made. Office is incredible and accessible to several major highways.

Visit was great- even though I was a little late they took me in right away, and Jackie was lovely- she did (and always does) a very thorough cleaning. She also could tell if there might be a problem and took appropriate Xrays. Dr. Puccio also has great bedside manner and stayed long as long as I needed to ask all my questions- he gave very helpful, clear answers and I trust his professional opinion! Thank you!
