This is such a lively office in the fisher building. Everyone is attentive to patients. I got to meet everyone who will be involved in the process of my dental care. Extra effort was made to make sure everything was correctly set. I was seen very promptly and the dental staff are extremely pleasant. I’m so thankful that this dental office exists in the city!

I was in town and had a small dental emergency. I was able to get an appointment right away, and found the staff and the doctor extremely welcoming. If I was living in Detroit they would be my go to Dentist. Loved them!

A native of Detroit, I graduated from Cass Technical High School and continued on to Howard University in Washington, D.C. I transferred to Wayne State University, where I graduated in 1966. I taught French and German for four years before entering the University of Michigan School of Dentistry, earning my Doctor of Dental Surgery degree in 1975.
After completing a two-year course in straight-wire orthodontics in 1983 and incorporating orthodontics in my practice for over 20 years, I completed training in advanced Damon® System self-ligating braces. I was also the first general dentist in the city to perform implant surgery after interning with Dr. Niznich, the founder of Core-Vent Implants, the first implants used in the United States. In addition to these specialty training courses, I also participate in local seminars in all aspects of dentistry and attend the national convention of the American Dental Association each year.
I have been proud to live in Detroit for my entire life, and enjoyed raising my three children here. They’re all grown up now, and I have been blessed with four grandchildren, with whom I love to spend time. A pilot for more than 30 years, I enjoy reading, traveling, and playing tennis when I’m not flying the friendly skies. Additionally, I am passionate about foreign languages, politics, and the state of our great country.

I am very regular about going to the dentist. Because I've moved around a decent amount I have had several new dentists. This is the first one who tried to schedule three separate appointments with me just to get to a cleaning. I called this office to schedule a first time cleaning. Much to my surprise when I arrived expecting a cleaning I found out that it would be the first of three visits needed just to get my teeth cleaned. The first visit was an hour spent getting x-rays and waiting to say hello to Dr Williams. The second was supposed to be to discuss my line of treatment (Remember I was only going to this office to get a cleaning. I see the dentist regularly, brush/floss regularly, and have never even had a cavity), but they wanted to schedule an entirely new visit to discuss my "treatment plan." The third visit was finally supposed to be the cleaning. But then he tried to qualify my regular cleaning as a deep cleaning. It ended up costing above and beyond what my insurance can pay. But of course, I can only imagine the entire point of this line of craziness was for them to make more money given I'm a regular at the dentist and didn't need a "deep" cleaning. Thank goodness I have found a regular reliable dentist who, like every well rated dentist I've been to, managed to do x-rays, consultation and cleaning all in one visit. This office clearly has some money-making scheme. Steer clear.

The receptionists and hygienists were so extremely helpful and accommodating from the minute I walked in the door (well, technically before I even walked in because I called while I was trying to find parking).
Everything was thoroughly explained and they even let you know what to expect next and so on. Overall great experience!

The facility is clean and welcoming. The staff is always pleasant and friendly. They are always accommodating to my schedule and continue to educate me on ways to improve my oral health. I am very pleased with my visit and the service that I received today. It is consistent and hasn't dissapointed me yet.
