He has invested hundreds of hours in continuing education, acquired the latest equipment and materials, and located the best dental labs in the country-all with a single purpose in mind: to help his patients achieve perfection in their smiles. Using advanced cosmetic imaging, Dr. Ellenbogen can show his patients what their smile will look like when he is done-before the first tooth is even touched. As his patient, you get to participate in all decisions about your care and how your smile will look when treatment is completed. Born in Scarsdale, New York, Dr. Ellenbogen attended Brown University, where he graduated with honors. He earned his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from Georgetown University School of Dentistry in 1979. After graduation, he worked for the Public Health Department in Newport, Vermont, for one year, providing dental services to underprivileged residents of the area. Dr. Ellenbogen moved back to northern Virginia and opened his own practice in October 1988. He later relocated that rapidly growing practice to its current location in Vienna and subsequently merged his practice with Dental Associates, the largest and most progressive group in northern Virginia.
