Dr. Gil Julia is a graduate of Boston University School of Dental Medicine the premier academic dental institution promoting excellence in dental education. He was awarded his Bachelor Degree in Biology in 1989 and Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) in 1993.
He is dedicated to remaining current with dental and business advancements and regularly attends continuing education courses to expand his skills and better serve his patients. He has extensive training in all facets of general and cosmetic dentistry and is an authorized Invisalign® provider.
After receiving his DMD degree, Dr. Julia moved to Texas to practice and in 2007 purchased Richland Dental Center in Richardson, Texas. His vision is to create an environment where each person entering the practice will feel welcome and comfortable.
His appreciation for his patients and passion for dental health is evident by his commitment to providing exceptional, affordable dentistry. He believes in comprehensive, conservative dentistry and strives to present dental options that will fit each patient’s needs, wants, and budget … never exchanging a dental problem for a financial problem.
Dr. Julia was born in Atlanta Georgia. He is the middle son in a proud Navy family. The Navy tradition is carried on by his Sister who is also a dentist and is stationed in Pensacola, Florida. The family traveled to many cities in and outside of the United States including San Juan Puerto Rico where he became fluent in Spanish.
Outside of the office, he enjoys golfing, playing the guitar, star gazing, and spending time with Michelle, his long-time partner and best friend.
